Il Gusto D’ Italia – PrestonAbsolutely fantastic service. Food was amazing too.
Italian Cottage – Chorleyi have family in this area and always visit the cariad as it has a lovely welcoming atmosphere, it caters for children and dogs too. lovely place and will continue to visit.
Cariad Coffee House and Tearoom – Kirkby LonsdaleJust visited for a Sunday lunch. Good food and service - nicely paced service. Some of the food can be generously seasoned/spiced which may take a few by surprise.... but our 2 kids ate heartily and (could have) got change from £60 for 2 courses for family of 4 - so good value too.
Checcos – PrestonThere can be no knocking the food it was excellent. However the customer service was absolutely appalling. They lie and misadvertise their offers. We ordered two pizzas (no seafood) on their so-called special offer - all pizzas and pastas for £3.95 (excluding seafood dishes). When we got the bill we had to pay a £1.95 supplement. When I queried this the 'manager' said in an unpleasant tone - you had an expensive pizza, and then walked away from us. When we explained that no-where on the menu had it said that this pizza was excluded he threw the money back at us and told us to go and not come back, he barred us from the restaurant!!!! When we then demanded the service charge back he initially refused to give it to us, when I stated to call the police, the threw that at me too. He then repeated that we were banned and took a photograph of us!!! Yes we called the police! Complete nightmare, avoid at all costs.
The Cafe Bar – PrestonBeen to Amico Mio a number of times, never had a bad meal. Always great service, great food and great atmosphere. x
Amico Mio – ClitheroeI have been visiting pond and duk now for some time both with family and friends and i try to find fault because well they can't be that good all the time can they? well i have to say I'm eating my words, the food never fails to impress and the staff are helpful no matter how busy, my self and colleagues went on the 16th of December we were loud and there was a lots of us but they delivered and the bill was reasonable, i think if yo can do it at Christmas when its so busy you have my vote! so if you are thinking of going then do, they best way if you haven't been before is try the deal really cheap for the quality.
Duk-Pond – PrestonThe best fish and chips ever, and very nice staff very smiling and chatty. I definitely give it a big thumbs up!!! =D
Moor Nook – PrestonWe went to Ninos on a Wednesday night 6adults and 2 children, the food was superb and the waiters couldn't do enough for us,I have been before on a weekend and i did feel like I was being rushed to finish my meal so they could get another party on the table but not this night, great food lovely service!
Nino’s Rawtenstall – RawtenstallWOW . The villa is a superb restaurant ! The welcome is splendid ; Pino and his staff make you feel welcome on every visit ! There is a lovely eye catching atmosphere and surrounded by a beautiful outside terrace !! i would definitely recommend this place to every body i know !! YOU NEED TO VISIT !!!! :)
Tiger Lounge – ClitheroeExcellent family meal today - fantastic fresh produce - friendly efficient service! Wonderful value - see for yourself :-)
Smiths Arms – PrestonBest food ever, cant wait to visit again
Waddington Arms – ClitheroeSuperb Food, superb quality and staff at the best price ever. Will keep coming back for more of those Carveries
The Pig and Whistle – PrestonStaff and Chef/Prop here, just super, from first contact. Wine list superb. However the food on Christmas Eve was desperately average, starting with the deeply ordinary and slightly stale bread, and finishing with the uninspired, chilly, cheese. Overcooked scallop on almost solid risotto. Industrial tasting BBQ type sauce with otherwise perfectly cooked fillet. Sub-Delia chicken dish. Should be noted that Chef/Prop was not in the kitchen. Also detail.....bulbs out in wall and centre lighting of restaurant. Towels for one, not two in the otherwise excellent room. Slapdash and noisy kitchen at breakfast. However, as I say, staff and owners treated us royally.
Millstone At Mellor – Blackburnliterally just come back from Barton Bangla. It was AMAZING! food delicious, hot, tasty and well presented, premises beautiful but the best bit was the attentive staff who made it so enjoyable, I mentioned to one of the waters that we had never been before and were very impressed and upon paying the bill they offered us a complimentary drink. Will definitely be back. :-)
Barton Bangla Brasserie – Prestonwe have eaten tonight in Field Fare in Chorley the food and wine were excellent.service fantastic couldn't have been better if we had been in 5* restaurant in the London (which we often have) Very very impressed the Stilton steak was fantastic !! melt in the mouth. Well done everyone !!!! Thank you
The Field Fare – ChorleyWent at 4pm on a Sunday for the buffet. I was looking forward to it but i came away very disappointed. I hardly ate anything. The starters were cold and soggy and the naan bread soggy. The currys were average but not worth the £10 price tag of the buffet which says a lot. Would not go again!
Spice Room – Accringtoni love this place but i tryed bellissimos down the road and i think bellissimos is a lot better and u don't feel rushed
