Amazing im going there for my birthday fave restaurant of all time
Checcos – BlackburnWhat a brilliant little restaurant this is!, called in with my girlfriend and her son the other Saturday about 5.30pm, we ordered the starter, main and rice for £9.95... it was worth every penny... we had a drink in the wine boutique, and, as i love my wine, i wasn't disappointed with the choice on offer. The food is the best Indian I've ever had, the staff i have to mention were absolutely perfect, polite, courteous, and very very efficient!, the decor and everything about this little place tucked away near the Post Office is PERFECT. I cannot recommend it enough!
North Street Indian Restaurant – RawtenstallBest chippy ever! shame we moved house we used to live 2 mins away, now make the journey its worth it!! Fresh approach to fish and chips, service with a passion for good food and service, a wedge of lemon with fish! Fantastic don't go anywhere else Keep up the good work!!
J-Seas Finest Fish and Chips – Chorleyi have been a customer of la rocca since it opened approx 5 years, since sampling their pizzas i have refused to eat anyone else's pizza as they wont live up to how good la roccas are, the bases are lovely and thin and seem authentic and handmade, the tomato sauce is delicious and toppings are generous. I can also the garlic breads which are also divine. I have eaten inside several times with my family and obviously the food is magnificent and service is good. i have found the management friendly and helpful and there is a strong family atmosphere (it seems the manager/head chef is from Italy and the lady who runs front of house is English and his wife) There are very good offers at the moment (3 courses for a tenner) which is good but obviously a beer/bottle of wine bumps the price up. This place SHOULD be renowned throughout chorley as the best Italian in the area but because of its tucked away location people are unaware of it or how good it is. I urge u to try this place if you enjoy fine authentic Italian food at reasonable prices
La Rocca – Chorleylite lunch just fills the spot can't beat the price, top tasting fish n chips. Quality fish, I travel miles to this chippy, got to be the best around. Well, this side of the white rose.... Must say the banter is pretty good too.
J-Seas Finest Fish and Chips – ChorleyI went here for the first time last night, food was good and service good too. Menu very different from other places I have been too, well worth checking it out on the website first so you know what to expect. My friends and I opted for the al-a -carte menu and desserts. The bill was £73 for 3 of us which included 2 cocktails, one glass of wine and a glass of lemonade. I had fresh water king prawns and my friends both had piri, piri chicken and we got a bowl of veg and potatoes between us all. Food was warm and we all enjoyed it. It was small inside but lovely and warm and I enjoyed the singer who was on, not too intrusive and not too loud. . We got 2 for 1 cocktails as it was Thursday night. I would definitely go again but I would go when they have their half price offers or 2 for 1 deals on and I am definitely going to try their lunchtime deals. Was only spoilt by a whiff of cigarette smoke drifting in from outside later on in the night but would go again.
Seasons – ChorleyII had been meaning to get around to booking a mean in this wonderful looking building for ages. Finally managed to get around to it, what a disappointment. It was like waking up in the 1970's. It felt like the chef had not had a new idea (or cook book) for the last 30 years. The food was bland, poorly presented and very unimaginative. The waiting staff appeared to have been dressed for a Victorian farce, long black dresses, white frilly aprons and solid sensible footwear. All in all, an expense mistake, will not be making a return appearance.
Ye Horns Inn – PrestonGave La Salsa a try after looking for a good offer, i was really surprised by the choice available and the quality of the food. Excellent value for money, well worth a trip.
La Salsa – DarwenMy favourite town centre eatery, gets better every time. been on a girlie party night which was fantastic, and a few times since with hubby or mum. the service is great, and the food is MUCH better than that other mass produced well known tapas chain, better value and quality and more authentic flavours. Mum particularly loved the king prawns tonight and i love the chicken in tomato, peppers and chilli. The bread's always extra fresh and comes with tasty dips. menu is so vast that even though the tapas are small, you could never eat everything you fancied off the menu - but it's nice to try!
La Salsa – DarwenWhat's not to recommend at J-Seas. Whether your far or whether your near, come try and you'll 'sea' that the best is here. You'll not be disappointed with the finest in town, so for fine Fish and Chips, make your way on down. With awards for a healthy takeaway, a treat from here will make your day!!!
J-Seas Finest Fish and Chips – ChorleyBland and uninspired in all respects. Food which was not carefully, or adequately, spiced and seasoned. Concentration on quantity over quality. Drinks overpriced. Lackadaisical service. On the plus side - it is clean and you get a lot of food. There are far better choices locally.
Spice Lounge – Blackburnthis is the best all round fish and chips i have ever tasted . the menu is superb , the fish is perfect , and the chips are just delightful !! a pleasure for anyone who loves fish and chips . generous potions and large potions if you like to share . every town should have these fish and chips !!
J-Seas Finest Fish and Chips – ChorleyI would recommend the lunch time light fish and chips!!! WOW!!! Amazing fish always so tasty and so fresh. Best chippy ever!!!!
J-Seas Finest Fish and Chips – ChorleyThe best chippy around by far.The food is fresh and the fish is succulent..service with a smile too..The only problem I had was I wish I had found J Seas sooner ...well worth a visit
J-Seas Finest Fish and Chips – ChorleyJ Seas is without question the best fish & Chips I have ever eaten... You have to try It They have won a quality food award for healthy eating I I believe they will be an enormous success Their fresh approach to our nations dish is an example to all the other chip shops well done.
J-Seas Finest Fish and Chips – ChorleyThe nicest Pizzas i have ever eaten, in the World let alone Preston, the staff are friendly and polite, I've never seen the owner without a smile on his face, i cant recommend this restaurant highly enough, but be careful with the 70% proof Absinthe, its nearly as hot as the Totto's Special Pizza, Excellent!!!!!!!
Tottos – PrestonAkash is THE premier indian restaurant, bar none - I have been in many across the country & this one trumps them all for service & quality of food, even down to the complimentary 'flame thrower' brandy. I'm talking REAL flavour, man.
Akash – DarwenI think this place is outstanding! perfect food all the time made with such care and quality. The cakes are OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! The chef that makes them is awesome, you can tell he takes time and pride and is extremely creative in his craft. There is no better!!!! I can't wait for my next visit!!
