Really liked the modern decor in this new restaurant. Saturday night was busy and buzzing. Really excellent food freshly cooked in open kitchen. Will definitely return.

Mezzo Restaurant & Bar – PrestonThe second venue from the family that own Ninos in Rawtenstall. They know how to make a beautiful space to dine in. This one housed in a former pub is in a great location with commanding rural views over Burnley and Pendle. Its a combination of upmarket Italian and country pub and it works! Popped in for lunch and had a gorgeous pizza. Want to try again for a full on feast. They have wifi so it definitely beats my office for a bit of work. A fantastic addition to the Lancashire dining scene.
Fighting Cocks Inn – BurnleyWe have been about 5 times now and on each occasion the food has been superb and on several occasions the portions were so filling we couldn't finish our main course. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Would I recommend Langs you bet I would.
The Lounge Bar and Restaurant – Prestonusual small town crappy italian restaurant all the sauces taste like they are out of a jar. the pizza bases are bought in how hard is it to make your own pizza dough lazy cheap crap . i find it hard to believe this place is so busy
Mangiamo – DarwenPleasant surroundings, friendly service, excellent wines, but distinctly average food.
Maxwells Cafe Wine Bar – ClitheroeBy far and away the best restaurant in the North West of England. The food is excellent and well worth the undoubted expense. Although the service is of a high quality it lacks a genuine warmth and can feel a little stuffy. The overall experience cannot be beaten. A special place for special occasions.
Northcote – BlackburnStunning from start to finish, We were met by the owner (impressive) wizzing around the tables making everyone feel welcome, sat afternoon and most of the tables taken (nice to see). We ordered a selection of veg and vegan dishes and were very impressed by all of them the price was a bargin for the quality and you would be hard pushed to find better service or food anywhere, i would highly recommend and will be going back soon with fussy friends, its nice to be able to trust a place to recommend. Compliments to the chef and the lady in black.
Duk-Pond – PrestonGreat place, good food, unfortunately moved out to their other restaurant in Horwich, a very pleasant member of staff called Andy. He was so helpful and thoughtful, he helped to make the place. I do hope he comes back.
La Casa de Salsa – ChorleyPlace is great but unfortunately, we had to wash all our clothes after visiting. The problem is that the kitchen is open plan and all cooking smells permeate the restaurant.
Yew Tree Inn – ChorleyWe really enjoyed our meal at this brand new restaurant! The host Stefano looked after us very well. Good to see the place was so busy. Wish them well with this restaurant!
Mezzo Restaurant & Bar – PrestonSTAFF VERY POLITE AND WELL MANNERED, FOOD COOK EXCELLENT. NO COMPLAINTS WITH DRINKS AS WELL.
Old Mother Redcap Hotel – BlackburnFirst visit on 12/9/2012 for lunch whilst in Colne. Steak pie was excellent, my wife's burger, good, Thwaites Wainwright an excellent pint. At lunchtime the place was crowded, a bit noisy, very good value for the prices charged.
The Morris Dancers – ColneThe food was excellent and the restaurant itself was very nicely decorated. The setting of Waters Edge is stunning, just by the side of a lake, we had pre-dinner drinks outside and the views were wonderful, and so quiet.I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, great staff, incredible food in breathtaking surroundings.
Tiggis preston has been about for years and unfortunately the food is in a timewarp. The English palette has moved on from the anglicised food Italian restaurants served 20 years ago. The venue is pleasant enough and service was OK. A bugbear of mine is dirty sticky menus which should be very easy to resolve!
Tiggis Pizzeria – PrestonAttended a surprise party for my in-laws' Golden Wedding celebrations and it was a fabulous day out. If I'm honest, I didn't quite know what to expect but the boat was beautifully laid out with linen-clothed tables, a bar and waiting staff and the whole event went down very well. It's a very pleasant way to spend three hours, cruising down the canal enjoying a three-course meal (soup, roast beef and Yorkshires, apple pie) and watching the world go by. The marina also has a pub where you can retire to for a drink afterwards (or even stay the night). If you're looking for a meal with a difference then I would certainly consider the Romance.
Canal Boat Cruises – Romance Restaurant Boat – Prestonjust had a mixed kebab and the wife had a parmesan hotshot. they were both absolutley brilliant. highly recommended. well done to the chef and great value for money.
Papas Pizza – NelsonI will not be returning. Overpriced average food in a very noisy and stuffy atmosphere. Bar area too close to the dining tables making it impossible to have a conversation without resorting to shouting. On the plus side, the staff are effecient.
Tiggis on the A59 – BlackburnWe dropped in here today for our lunch and waited a good 20 mins for our food so we were thinking "it'll be worth the wait", as there were plenty of diners we were expecting great things - it arrived at our table and resembled a frozen food meal you could pick up from the local supermarket and the roast potatoes were a famous brand needless to say wont be going back there :(
