Antonello’s – LeylandThe railway Gastro Pub. Euxton near chorley has great food. We went on a Monday evening and got half price steaks. I had a rump steak with real chips finished in dripping plus all the trimmings for just over £8. Sweets are delicious -try summer pudding its divine. All the staff were smiley, friendly and very helpful,, nothing was too much trouble. You need to book a table it gets packed.
The Railway Tavern Euxton – Chorleygood food, and good value for money, we did the early bird menu and would say that it did not compromise on quality
The Railway Tavern Euxton – ChorleyMy sister recommend this pub for my 60th birthday next year.
The Willows – BlackburnPopped in last night late on as we were travelling back from the Lakes. The Plough has had a gorgeous refurb, period yet modern. The menu is modern too with its tapas style options. We had Chorizo and beans, seared beef, terriyaki salmon and chicken noodles all of which were tasty and well presented. All was washed down by a fine pint of Cumberland Ale. Would definitely return!
The Plough at Lupton – Kirkby LonsdaleWent for a meal here at 7pm on a thurs, found this place quite a shock, I thought it would be run of the mill Indian but when you go in there is a lovely relaxing bar whilst you wait for meal, and the decor in the the restaurant is beautiful, the staff couldn't do enough for us, and much to my amazement there was an offer on £9.95 for any starter, main and a pilau rice from 4pm till 7pm up to thurs and up to 6pm sat and Sunday. How many Indian do deals at weekend. The food was fantastic absolutely delicious, and cause it was a large portion I was full so I asked if I could keep the rest of it to take home, the manager put it in a tub to take home and also put an extra free pilau rice in for me to have another meal. It was great from start to finish seriously think you should try this one.
North Street Indian Restaurant – RawtenstallWe've eaten here a few times now and its probably the nearest Preston gets to a decent gastropub. Lovely outside beer garden and the pub gets very busy during summer. Really good atmosphere and relaxed surroundings, great range of continental beers and a knowledgeable and friendly staff get meals off to a good start. Belgium fruit beers on tap as well as good real ales and a superb bottled beer selection. Top marks for the range of non-alcoholic Fentimens drinks and a choice of dealcoholized beer for drivers. Portions are large, nicely presented and the chef clearly has masterchef aspirations. For a light meal a starter will certainly suffiice. A goats cheese and baked beetroot tartlet resembled an impressionist work of art and was delicious. Ditto the smoked chicken salad. The 4 hour slow cooked belly pork is fantastic and a personal favourite although you won't be able to fit in a sweet and starter with it. Sweets are mini works of art - there can't be that many chefs as nifty with the sugar basket work. Only criticism is that the interesting menu leaned a bit towards autumnal hearty choices throughout the summer and a large proportion of the dishes seemed to be accompanied by the veal stock boulangere potatoes. (Nonetheless they are very tasty). Great to have a place where you get the sense that the chef's heart is genuinely in the food, it is made on the premises rather than coming out of a freezer and that offers a genuinely interesting choice.
The Continental – PrestonLast week was the first time I had visited your restaurant. We booked for dinner time. The meal was wonderful. Excellent value and very good service. I will be recommending it.
The Sirloin Inn – PrestonDined here recently on a Sunday. Three courses for £9.99, you can't really beat that. Food quality was excellent, service a little slow but the waitress's were busy. Will certainly be going back !
Isolabella – LeylandCrowded, noisy, waited far too long for a table. Rude disinterested staff. Poor food and poor value for money. Appears that a well established clique are catered for to the exclusion of others. I can only comment that they must be easily pleased.
Nino’s Rawtenstall – RawtenstallLOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT , been to this restaurant countless times and quality is always impeccable , never had a bad meal , the platter is a must ,the cosmos are great to ;) , we were married in Jamaica and this food is the closest thing to the Caribbean you can get !
Calypso Restaurant – BlackburnWe went to New Season again this week and, as always, had a great time. The food is always of a high standard with lots of choice, the tapas menu is our particular favourite. There is also a good selection of wines and cocktails and the staff are always friendly, helpful and take good care of you. Recommended.
Seasons – ChorleyIsolabella is one of the best restaurants i've been the food is brilliant especially the garlic bread i would recommend it to all great atmosphere
Isolabella – LeylandThe Railway at Euxton serves exceptional food, and their black pudding starter is yet to be surpassed in any of the other restaurants I visit. The staff are efficient, polite and caring. A visit here is one to be remembered for the correct reasons.
The Railway Tavern Euxton – ChorleyEver longed for top notch food? You know, the really good stuff that you see award winning chefs dish out on super large plates with all the fancy stuff? Me too. The only thing that stops me is the price and the stuffy atmosphere that comes on a side plate with passionless staff with no personality in the usual places. The Railway has fantastic food in a cracking pub like surroundings. With 'real' down to earth people serving you in a lovely attitude. The food is amazing. Made all the better by a proper pint in the pub just on the otherside of the bar to the restaurant! Bliss. A real gold mine this one. Shhhhh.
The Railway Tavern Euxton – ChorleyThis Gastro Pub is local to us and we have been many times and had some great meals. Whilst the prices may seem high you can get half price steak and chips on a Monday which is the best we have ever had. There is an early diners option which is available up to 7.30pm during the week. Last time we went I had catch of the day which was sea bass which was cooked to perfection. My husband loves the roast dinners on a Sunday. Mushrooms on toast is another memorable dish (a starter) as it includes a little truffle oil. If you have room the sticky toffee pudding with cinder toffee ice cream is just to die for. Drinks aren't cheap but we normally get a bottle of wine between the two of us as these are priced at reasonable rates.
The Railway Tavern Euxton – ChorleyGreat value for money, friendly and professional staff. Steaks are top drawer and we are picky. Great Gastro food, pleasant atmosphere and good choice to accommodate all tastes. We do a 32 mile round trip and think it is worth every mile of it. Enjoy
The Railway Tavern Euxton – ChorleyFabulous restaurant, it's my fave Thai in Lancashire. The food is absolutely delicious, with no concessions made to Western tastes (in a good way) the service is always warm and welcoming. Don't be out off by the rather pink decor, it's part of the experience and is just a sign that this place is all about the food.
