the best around, great pizza
Alghero – ChorleyHaving eaten here tonight, we left feeling slightly disappointed as we found the restaurant to be very average, the service was quick but the food was nothing special. Having been to many others, we feel that you do not get what you pay for here. On arrival, we were made to feel welcome, shame this wasn't the case on leaving, the staff/management were far too distracted with personal conversation whilst taking payment to even offer a "thank you" we won't be returning.
Agra Indian Restaurant – BurnleyI have enjoyed J-Seas finest Fish and Chips on each of their events and eagerly await the opening of their new shop in Chorley, The choice and quality cannot be beaten I love their new approach to our national dish and recommend their Lemon and Parsley batter option for your fish, YUMMY! Megan Jessica
J-Seas Finest Fish and Chips – ChorleyWe went to this restaurant on on Friday evening a couple of weeks ago and the meal was fantastic to say the least i had the fillet steak and pepper sauce the veg and potatoes were amazing i must beg you to go and try it at least once before you die it was that good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Porcinis – PrestonWe travel here from Blackpool, because it is just amazing.we have never been to a nicer, cheaper italian.food is lovely, drinks are a bit more expensive but the cheap food and generous portions make up for that.Love this place and we just keep coming back!
Amico Mio – ClitheroeThis restaurant is FABULOUS!!! The ingredients are locally sourced and are prepared by an exceptional chef (especially the pies!!!) and the menu caters for all tastes. They also have an extensive Specials board which has plenty mouthwatering dishes to tempt you. My family and I have eaten here on several occasions now and it seems to get better every time. Highly recommended and a must to visit if you are in the area.
The Travellers Rest – ChorleyI highly recommend the barton bangla. The service is exceptional and the food is with you in a matter of minutes! your starter is even waiting for you at the table after you have ordered your food in the waiting room! the food is fantastic 5* and the portions are great. best indian i have ever eaten at!
Barton Bangla Brasserie – PrestonI pop into the plough on a regular basis, and every time I go the food is brilliant! Staff are always friendly and the value for money is unbelievable. If you like big hearty food, this is the place to go!!
The Plough Country Pub and Dining Room – LancasterWe've been coming to Sukhi's for over 5 years and eat here at least once a week and very often twice, usually on a Saturday and mid-week. Over this time, between us we must have had just about every dish on the menu and never been disappointed. What's more, if you want to vary a dish or fancy something that you can't see on the menu, the chef will always cook it to suit your taste - making it an endless choice! The staff are very friendly, efficient and nothing is too much trouble to them. I've recommended Sukhi's to lots of people and they all agree that it's a great place to eat.
Raj Mahal – DarwenWent for Sunday Lunch, found the food wonderful and the service excellent. The beer was good as well! Place was in need of a lick of paint, but it is about to undergo a refurb. Highly recommended.
Parkers Arms – ClitheroeI have been to eat at the continental numerous times, and on every occasion the food has been fantastic. The service is always excellent and friendly, and if there is a bit of a wait it is probably because diners have not booked in advance. Last time I dined there I had pork belly with black pudding, which I worried would be very fatty, but it was the best I`d ever had. I love this place! I`d rather nobody else came though, because there have been a few times I haven`t managed to get a table. On second thoughts this is an awful place, stay away you people.
The Continental – Prestonvisited the longlands last night excellent food fantastic choice. just let down by bad service and grumpy staff all in all a nice night out, good value for money
Longlands Hotel and Restaurant – CarnforthWe ate there for the first time yesterday (7th Oct). We had talked about trying it because of its excellent reputation and we were not disappointed. We managed a good value 3-course meal in very good surroundings and close enough to home to encourage a repeat visit. We both enjoyed als which were different to "standard" Italian restaurant fare.
La Locanda Ristorante Italiano – ClitheroeWe tried the October menu a couple of evenings ago - our second visit to La Locanda - and it was excellent, again. My starter was the smoked wild trout with a pumpkin tart - brilliant. The atmosphere is welcoming and not a bit stuffy, the service is exceptional and it also offers really good value. Can't wait to go back.
La Locanda Ristorante Italiano – ClitheroeAfter ringing around a few places late on a Thursday evening for a table for 6, I found the red pump on the Internet and gave them a ring. Although they were also full the manager offered us a table in the bar which we accepted with hesitation. Fortunately there was no reason for my concern! the whole place was warm and welcoming the service was friendly and attentive and the food was outstanding!
The Red Pump Inn – Clitheroei have been eating at the anaz for at least 25 years the food and service has always be fantastic. i have eaten Indian food all over England and never had better. first class
Anaz Indian Restaurant – DarwenThis is the best Indian food around. We keep returning time after time, as the food is so good & the waiters are so helpful. You can also take in your own drinks, & they will keep them cool for you. Excellent all round....A1
