Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyWell, what can we say 5*. Having not been for a long while as our last experience was not too good, the new owners have obviously got it back to the good old days. Booked for last Sunday`s lunch. I had the roast lamb and other half had the roast beef. The meal was amazing and the gravy to die for and plenty of it. The staff were all extremely pleasant and attentive. Asked for a dog free area when booking and this was honoured. We can`t wait to return and sample some of the other lovely dishes on the menu. Thank you.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleLovely food
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyLovely food and friendly service. My only complaint was we saw set menu on website which wasn’t now on offer. Would definitely return.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyMy husband and I took his father and wife for lunch mid week and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The food was hot and tasty. The service was also good and they were very attentive to us all, we will be going back soon.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyLovely atmosphere and excellent service. Booked again so more than happy.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWe visit Quattros quite regularly. Whether it’s a birthday celebration or a catch up with a friend, we always enjoy my time here. Food is beautiful, wonderful friendly staff, good wine, just my ideal . Always my favourite go to for eating out!!
Quattro’s – Ormskirk5 star!
The Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Cocktail Bar – ChorleyLovely food and great service. Would definitely recommend.
Anatolia Grill – St HelensNot been since pre refurb. Lovely setting. Went Sunday, lunch 4 adults. Traditional meals like roast and cheese pie looked great and reports were that they tasted good. Fish tacos less so mainly as French fries were saturated in an oily dressing, and not much to it, pieces of battered fish in mini wrap, fries and little side salad I put the fries on a serviette to rescue from the oil dressing, there was way too much oil. I was hungry, it was more than edible, I ate it but for a few fries, but would say stick to the traditional dishes they looked really good and avoid dishes that sounds fancy to avoid disappointment.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallI treated the family to Sunday lunch yesterday. Three of us had the roast beef and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. The two children had the kids meals and they weren’t disappointed - two clean plates. We shall definitely be paying another visit here very soon.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAbsolutely amazing dining experience at Avucciria! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The decor is a beautiful blend of modern and rustic, making it the perfect setting for a delightful meal. The menu is a masterpiece, offering a variety of exquisite dishes that cater to every palate. We started with the burrata and arancini, both of which were divine. The burrata was creamy and fresh, while the arancini were perfectly crispy on the outside and deliciously soft on the inside. For the main course, we had the seafood pasta and the lamb shank. The seafood pasta was bursting with flavor, featuring a generous amount of fresh seafood and a rich, savory sauce. The lamb shank was tender and succulent, falling off the bone effortlessly. The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. They made excellent recommendations and ensured that our glasses were never empty. To top it all off, the dessert was a heavenly experience. The tiramisu was light, creamy, and had the perfect balance of coffee and sweetness. Avucciria exceeded all our expectations and provided an unforgettable dining experience. We can't wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional food and outstanding service. Five stars all the way!
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallGenuinely the BEST roast I’ve ever had! Wonderful customer service too, would highly recommend.
Bread and Butter – PrestonA great little place with a friendly welcome and excellent service. The food was also excellent and plentiful. Two of our party had the Seabass Niçoise and I had the chicken, ham and leek pie. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasty. We would definitely recommend and will be going back when we are next in the area.
Ship Inn – LancasterI celebrated my 80th birthday their with 5 family and friends. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening with good food and service. My only complaint was the background music was a little too loud for my hearing aids and at times I struggled to hear the conversation around me.
The Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Cocktail Bar – ChorleyBooked for 2 but had to change time of meal and where very accommodating. Food nice and hot with lovely staff. Reasonable prices.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyAbsolutely lovely little place to eat. Me and my partner made a last minute booking on Sunday and very glad we found this little gem! All food was absolutely gorgeous and all staff were dead friendly. We will be back!
