Had a wonderful meal at the Horns Inn. The place was very busy which was a good sign. I had the duck, proceeded by pate both of which were very tasty. A great spot for Sunday lunch

Ye Horns Inn – PrestonWe had our evening reception here 27th June 09. We cannot fault anything. The room looked amazing. The food was out of this world, All the staff were very helpful and polite. Its not very often people excel your expectation but they did. Thank you for making our evening so very enjoyable and thank you to Lynn and her son for making the evening run smoothly. Jo and Graeme
Tinos – PrestonTable booked for 8.45pm. Arived 8.35pm waited 30 mins before order taken, another 15 mins before seated at table (although the table was free when we entered) and eventually left without eating at 9.55pm. Service not as expected. Food may be wonderful but we'll never know. Spoilt a very special evening.
La Locanda Ristorante Italiano – Clitheroei went for a meal with three friends last Wednesday and found the meal was very nice and the staff very helpful. i enjoyed it so much I'm bringing my grandson for his lunch today(saturday). i will recommend the yarrow bridge to all my friends. i will be coming to eat there at least once a week. well done to you all. sue james.
Yarrow Bridge Inn – ChorleyFantastic food. Even give us a small shot of lemon type of shot, fabulous. Romantic and fab service.
Angelos – PrestonHad a wonderful night at Northcote during the Obsession Festival. The appropriately named Tom Kitchin was at the stove. Fantastic food and great company on our table. Matthew Fort of Great British Menu fame held a witty court. Proud to have this esteemed event in the Red Rose county!

New Hall Tavern – PrestonJust love it, love it, love it. I've only ever visited their factory shop & cafe in Chorley...but intend to visit their other cafes when time/opportunity allows. Such friendly staff, such delicious ice cream .. current fave being lemon meringue ice cream! It's well worth a try.
Frederick’s Ice Cream Parlour & Coffee Bar – ChorleyJust love it, love it, love it. Frederick’s Ice Cream Parlour & Coffee Bar – ChorleyI booked a table for myself my wife and youngest son to enjoy a highly recommended restaurant in Broughton the evening of Saturday 30th of January. The table was reserved for 19:45pm but on arrival at 19:30 we were greeted by an enormous backlog of diners congregating in the entrance and around the bar, ''no problem'' said the waiter and we were swiftly seated in a tiny recess next to the toilets and front door and told to have a drink, the table would be available in 30mins.................................................2hrs 15mins later. We were seated in another side room next to a table 12 year olds on a birthday party squealing loudly in the absence of their parents who were sat in a another part of the restaurant enjoying the company of adults (out of shot of the squeelers) The time is now 22:10 and our order was finally taken, popodums and chutneys now because it was too late to really relax and take our time. The main courses Korma, Pokil? and Hasina were of good quality meat and chicken but tepid, we were past complaining again we just wanted to go. When we asked for the bill our waiter offered a drink as compensation for the wait................a little after the horse had bolted. The Manager apologised and blamed other customers for saying they had booked when clearly they hadn't by admission he said they allowed too many diners and couldn't cope. Would we return? no! but had they said when we rang and booked that they were very full we would have come another night, they have lost our future custom. We shall stick with Bangla Fusion (Much Hoole) EastEast(Preston)
Touch Of Spice – PrestonAlways enjoyed it here, nice place, quirky, young staff, and like young staff some are surly and some are confident and friendly - lovely soups.
The Emporium – ClitheroeNot good food. Too much MSG. Staff not helpful. No enough staff.
Great Village – BlackburnCarvery pub, similar to Toby Inn, my children love it, basics - roast and veg. Exceptionally good prices and nice staff. Always busy but never had long to wait for food.
Farmers Arms The – PrestonAndreas is a local character, always loud, funny, definitely a bit bonkers but well respected and puts his heart into the community - this is reflected in his food. Nice quality fish and chips, big helpings.
Andreas Fish and Chip Shop – PrestonBusy but lovely, friendly, modern, multi-cultured, inclusive; intelligent staff, great food and service. Every dish is different and their skewered prawns are simply beautiful, great deserts too! Good prices.
East Z East – PrestonThe food here is amazing. Fab service brill early bird menu tues - thurs and all you can eat Sunday and always pure quality. We discovered quite by accident and have not gone anywhere else since. Chicken Nepali is addictive - though whatever we have picked has been quality. Good ambience and good range of drinks on draught. Try it and you will be back. Dee-licious x
