New Hall Tavern – PrestonFabulous fresh food.
Checcos – PrestonFantastic! Our ten guests joined us in celebrating our sons 21st birthday on a busy Saturday evening. By request, we were accommodated in a private dining room and pampered without exception. AnnaMaria & Olivier have a knack of getting everything consistently right; you are made to feel really at home in this lovely restaurant, ....and the food just gets better every time we go!
Amelies – ChorleyWe had a classy meal at the Continental. The Ham Hock salad and the chicken livers with poached egg and black pudding were amazing and filling but I hate having to pay extra for veg with main course. Fish is cooked beautifully, Chips are excellent, new potatoes also buttery. The desserts are divine but need more sauce and more ice cream . Service could have been better .Well definitely be back . Best location in area and best beer
The Continental – PrestonThis is one of my regular Indian restaurants, it's a small cosy eating place upstairs. Waiters are friendly and there is a good atmosphere here. They have just updated the menu and I had to study the extensive range of courses for ages. They cook a lot of unusual dishes now. Curry dishes are really lovely and everything is reasonably priced!
Passage to India – OrmskirkThere is always a very warm welcome at The Villa. Piano and his staff provide an excellent service. The food is the best quality and cooked to perfection. I always recommend this restaurant to anyone wishing to eat out in Clitheroe in comfort.
Tiger Lounge – ClitheroeEnjoyed a very good lunch in the newly refurbed Angelos before embarking on Christmas shopping. I had Saffron Salmon Ravioli and my missus the spicy pasta. Interesting new menu with non Italian options too. The refurb is modern and slick without being too contemporary. impressed!
Angelos – PrestonGot to say that chef, is top man when it comes to cooking!! and always happy to give big portions. I must say for the price & efficient staff I'll be back for more
Mitali Tandoori – AccringtonWe have had dinner very recently at Amelies with different friends on two occasions. Each meal was a delight and the service of a high standard. Amelies is one of the best kept secrets in the Wigan area but that wont be for long as the word is out. We have already booked a business lunch for January. Highly recommended.
Amelies – ChorleyMy family has been going here for years. The food is always delicious. Even the 'English Meals' on the menu are worth trying-if you ever get tired of the huge choice of curries. The Buffet on Sunday afternoon is a must in the Credit crunch.
Mitali Tandoori – AccringtonIncredible tea shop with the best range of teas I have ever seen or tasted!, try the Yerba Mate for an Argentinian pick me up or the Milk oolong for something truly unique. Great service and great place to relax !
Mystery Tea House – PrestonI dined at Banny's with my wife and our 2 year old girl. It was so nice to see the staff and manager go out of their way to accommodate us. It's never easy eating out with a young child but Banny's really took the pressure off by looking after us from start to finish. The food came quickly (again this helps) and it was fantastic. The best fish and chips we've ever had. Even though it was busy we were never left for too long without being checked on or served. Full commendation to the food and the staff. Excellent
Banny’s – ColneAnaz is da shittest place iv eaten at. You should go down the road and have a exquisite Feast at Akash Indian Brasserie 01254 706043. Anaz Manager - 07724490494
Anaz Indian Restaurant – DarwenFaultless Indian restaurant. Great service: staff motivated and friendly but never overbearing. Nice layout inside, modern and classy. Most importantly, the food is simply superb. The tastes are clean and spicy and the portions are big. It was also astonishingly good value. We were in a group of four and starters, mains, beers and coffees came to about £100, for a quality of food that seriously is worth twice that. Check it out, you won't regret it.
Shajan – Blackburni've lived in Preston for 45 years, and can see it for what it is, - not a city but a dirty, dying town. what it has done to deserve a gem like this is beyond me. the young polish staff are a credit to their parents, it's just a pity that the staff who normally work in the service industry aren't as pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable.... give it a go and you'll run out of superlatives. didn't try the food, but if you can convince yourself to try something other than a cup of nescafe or builders tea, you will be hooked. the decor and cleanliness of the cafe is second to none wishing them all the best for the future, they deserve to succeed john
Mystery Tea House – PrestonQuite simply, this place is a hidden gem. The staff are wonderful and helpful, and the tea selection is out of this world. After coming out of there, you feel so relaxed and calm. Amazing, simply amazing.
Mystery Tea House – PrestonAfter goodness knows how many fantastic meals at both POND & DUK thought it about time I write a review! My friend and I had a delicious lunch yesterday and her very specific dietary requirements were met without a hint of inconvenience. As always the food was divine, service exceptional, wonderful ambience and very reasonable bill. Everything is always perfect, just too hard to chose from the huge and varied menu. What I really love about it is that day or night, summer winter, shopping, business or pleasure it's just right - not many places master this but POND never disappoints whatever the occasion! Just booked for our xmas do and can't wait!!!
Duk-Pond – PrestonVery modern interior with TV on wall. Comfy seats, friendly attentive staff. Food is to a good standard. I had very nice starter of prawn mango puri starter and main course chicken tikka korma. Peshwari nan was great. Movenpick ice cream was fab for desert/ Only negative is that Side dishes are too small for the £3.50 charged but again very nicely cooked. Rice also served in dish, smaller than usually found in Indians.
