I have eaten here on many occasions and the food is always really good, however on Saturday night I just wanted a takeaway from here and fancied a change but couldn’t find your Website or menu’s anywhere, after about 20 mins trawling the Internet and finding nothing I went to the Chinese takeaway in Baxenden, do you have a web address so that you don’t lose my business again??

There are perhaps a half-dozen truly outstanding restaurants in Preston (Duk/Pond, Sakura, and at times, Moka, So, Cafe Bar, and the Chop House), but there is one which separates itself from the crowd in terms of ambience, friendliness, and a general determination to make you feel truly welcome and appreciated.... and that is Totto's. I have sampled all that Preston has to offer over the past 3 years, eating out 1-2 times per week, but Totto's remains my first choice. Niko and has team always offer an outstanding atmosphere, always make us feel appreciated, and always provide warm, inviting, and tasty food, each and every time. The value is second-to-none in Preston. I have taken any number of visiting dignitaries from around the world to Totto's, and Niko and crew have never failed to leave a wonderful impression. Get there and support the best of Preston!

We chose The Pines to celebrate a family birthday, and twelve of us spent a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon here on a beautiful sunny October day. After drinks in the airy conservatory area, we were seated in a private side room, which was perfect for the occasion and were looked after very well indeed throughout the afternoon. The food and service were good, and I would highly recommend The Pines for a special family occasion.

We have had many a Sunday lunch in Lancashire but the best roast beef in years was devoured at the Bay Horse ! It wasn't cheap but it was quality.

Four of us dined here on Saturday night. We had Poppadoms with chutneys to start, 2 x mixed kebabs, chicken tikka & Chicken pakora as starters, which were beautiful and very tasty. Us girls had chicken korma & tikka massala and the guys opted for the 'Aji Baji' chicken tikka special which was lovely & plentiful. For this, including rice each, 2 large naan breads to share (9inch each so too much for 1) & 2 rounds of drinks came to a £98.00. The service was very good and the waiter asked if we would like a 10 minute break before our main course was served which was much appreciated. I think the biggest let down was definitely the decor and toilets. The website is very impressive, but upon entering, not at all what we were expecting. The lovely conservatory was not open, (looked like it was used for parties only) the purple doors were a bit garish and the 'bamboo' theme a bit tacky. I remember the toilets from my visits to it's predecessor - the rose and crown pub and that was nearly 15 years ago. At the prices they are charging, it would be nice for them to at least give the main dining area and toilets an overhaul to make the dining experience even better.

Visited the Clog for the third time, since the refurb. I Have not been disappointed yet. All members of my party enjoyed the food and service was good as always. It does get very busy from about 6pm on a Saturday so you need to go early as they don't take bookings. It is much more relaxed on weekday evenings. recommend the steak with green peppercorn sauce.

My friends and I visited Totto's on a works leaving do on the 17th October 2008. It was our first time there and we certainly weren't disappointed! The staff were very hospitable and interacted very well with all their customers equally, so much so in fact that they made the experience unforgettable. Also the food and presentation was great. I will definitely be returning and will recommend Totto's to all my friends.

My family and I visited Totto's on the 18th Oct. we had a wonderful meal, the staff were very friendly and made a fuss of us. nico one of the owner's was very funny and my daughter loved it, as sometimes you go in some places and the children get very bored, but Tottos made the children very special and the kids loved it. So I would recommend this restaurant highly for quality,cost of food very good, and personality of the staff and owner's. WELL DONE we will definitely be going back in the near future.

Found this restaurant through Sugarvine, but have since been told by everyone I know how good this place is, went there for my birthday on a Saturday night with my party of 20 people and they very kindly squeezed us in as they know my partner, the staff were absolutely fantastic had a really nice time, the food was top notch and then we stayed afterwards to listen to the Rock 'N' Roll pianist who really got the place rockin, will be visiting again shortly with just my partner for a romantic evening instead of the busy party-fest we enjoyed on my birthday. Thanks to Nic Fernando and all the staff on the night. LOVED IT!!!

We found the food to be very average with strange combinations. eg Chilli chicken with roast potatoes, veg and pre packed salad leaves. My mackerel was raw in the middle. My husband ordered lamb shank but got slices. The room had no atmosphere was too brightly lit and no music . We ate at 9 when we were booked in at 8.15. There did not appear to be anyone in overall charge. We have been at lunchtime and were impressed but the transition to an evening venue in our view will only work with a little more attention to detail eg Curtain off the prep areas around the waiting area. Cosy it up and forget the salad leaves with everything!!

We originally only planned a 3 night stay at the Stork Inn, but as we found the accommodation and the standard of food to be of the highest quality we decided to extend our stay to 7 nights, Tracey and her family made us very welcome indeed, and the staff were equally friendly and helpful. We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending the Stork Inn to all and sundry. Jean and Roger Lichfield

17/10/08 Friday evening reservation at 9pm at the Shanghai Chorley. First time visitor and my opinion of this restaurant could not be more divided. On the one hand I thought the food was very good, you could tell that fresh ingredients were used and it was fairly well presented. 8/10. On the other hand the service was, in my opinion, extremely poor which was somewhat surprising as there were only three tables occupied so you would have thought that you would receive a high standard, sadly not so. Our waitress was clearly wanting to go home. We had sat down at our table and within less than 30 seconds she had presented us with the menu and asked us if we were ready to order!!! I said please leave us to look at the menu for a few minutes. 1 minute went by and I kid you not she was back and stayed at our table until we had chosen our starter and main course. Our bottle of red (not what was on the wine menu, but a minor hiccup) and starter arrived within 5 minutes. After consuming our plates were removed and replaced with our main course within a few minutes. After enjoying the food we were finishing off our bottle of plonk (time was only 9.55) and they must have decided that they were not going to get any further business that evening because the main lights directly over out table were switched on. Suffice it to say we were not tempted to look at the sweet menu and asked for our bill and after waiting about ten minutes for it to arrive paid at the bar. Great food but sadly appalling service.

Not recommended! I've been three times all for birthday or Christmas do's and it has failed to impress on every occasion. It has THE least inspiring menu in Preston and all of the food is bland and tasteless, apart from the pizzas which are soaked in grease! The price isn't even reasonable. The only thing they scored well on was a large slice of cake for the person celebrating their birthday. There are a hundred better places to go, Totto's can be skipped!

I eat here a lot, mainly at lunchtime as they do a terrific £3.95 for pasta/pizza. I have never had a bad experience and the host is a fantastic character and service is always pleasant and efficient. The ambience is lovely too.

I was really lucky to find the Red Pump Inn when living in the area Mon-Fri for work and lodged there for about 4 months. The hosts and the staff made me more welcome than I have ever felt in any hotel. The food was consistently wonderful with only one problem. Ashley's steaks have left me thoroughly dissatisfied with all other offerings I have tried anywhere, even at more than double the price in so called classy establishments. I am a great fan of food travelling extensively on business and do not exaggerate when I say it is my most favourite hotel and restaurant in the whole world! It is that one in a million perfect blend of warm welcome, great atmosphere and wonderful food that is so hard to find these days. And take it from one who knows, it is always that way, as I experienced it every day for months. I hope my wife never reads this but I never wanted to go home to "normal" food and always looked forward to coming back to my second home every Monday.

Hi, i'm a Chinese student at Uclan. I have been to Totto's restaurant with my friend on this evening. That is my first time come to there. There is very welcome, and staff and boss both are friendly and passionate. I was ordered main food,which is MUSAKKA, my friend was ordered KLEFTICO. It's very fantastic. My friend and i also ordered Gamborohi after main food, which include king prawn, sausage and tomato. The food price of this restaurant is not expensive, moreover which has got 10% for students. Everything is fine. whatever taste, service or others. My friend and i am satisfactory. Besides, i like the fitment.

My husband and I are have been using this restaurant for a few years now. We adore the warm bread and refills are provided with a smile. My husband is a meat and three veg type man but we always go back for our favourite of Moussaka and shish kebab. Both are served with rice cooked the proper way and could be a meal in itself. The salads are particularly fresh and crispy.The house white wine is perfectly palatable. The service is faultless and the sign of a good waiter is when he always remembers your favourite drinks order.We have taken friends and family here-parking is easy just around the corner, and they too,have enjoyed the simple but well cooked food. We can thoroughly recommend Tottos!.
