Studio – Rawtenstalli never had a worse meal than the one i had at the hospital inn, the soup was water with slabs of veg in it, then when we sent it back no other option was offered, then 50 minutes later my rare steak came, well done, in the end we left £65 pound down and still hungry.
Hospital Inn – PrestonWent there for the first time just before Christmas & had a wonderful meal. The atmosphere was good, service excellent. The food was fresh, the choices were interesting, very different from the usual so-called Italian fare served by local restaurants- very authentic. The red grapefruit sorbet served as a palate cleanser was a welcome touch. We will definitely return.
La Locanda Ristorante Italiano – Clitheroeat last a pub who does real pub food, back up with hand cut chips a real gravy, on my first vist i had black pudding and chirzo salad follow by sirlion steak with pepper corn sauce and beast size onion rings. to finish i had home made sticky toffee pudding with a dreamy toffee sauce the best ive ever tasted. The choice of the menu was mind blowing with a good special board, my next vist i will be trying the creme brulee.
Yew Tree Inn – PrestonI went with my wife and kids, they were impressed with the food very much.We don't have as good as the Indian food that we had at Naaz as we do in Canada. We will be back soon. Pete.
Naaz Indian Cuisine – Prestonthe place is OK, food OK but the toilets are disgusting
La Veranda – RawtenstallMy mum and dad started coming here every week before they got married and now they have me and my siblings we can only manage to go every couple of months or so but we also love the fab takeaway range. Great food we travel all the way from south Manchester to just eat this food, its amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and i think that more people should go there as all the rewards of this fabulous food will go to the best staff you have ever met. Great food, love it!!!
Valley Cantonese – Rawtenstallbest restaurant in the northwest, easily as good as anything in london.
Truffles – ChorleyWe held our company Christmas party at Nino's this weekend, we numbered 50 guests and everyone enjoyed both the food and the party atmosphere. We selected from the party menu which included many mouthwatering choices, quite difficult to choose only one item from each course to be honest! All meals were beautifully presented, served piping hot and cooked exactly as requested, no mean feat when serving 50 people at once! Highly recommended!
Nino’s Rawtenstall – Rawtenstallwonderful old type pub serving very good home made food. choice of two roasts on Sunday with extensive menu on large blackboard. First class service and first class food. The beers are good also. Am taking my family for Christmas lunch next Monday and I cant wait to get there.

Bukhara – PrestonWe visited Totto's last night with my son who lives in Preston. This is the second time we have visited and I must say the food and service is excellent. It is small cosy restaurant which serves Mediterranean food. We booked a table quite late in the day however they were very apologetic for putting us on a small table but we were just glad that we got in. The staff really do make you feel comfortable. My partner loved the spicy sausage starter and the blue cheese sauce served with his steak. I have had pasta twice and I must say that on both occasions it has been excellent. We live in North Wales but we will be back and no doubt my son will get more visits than normal just so that we have an excuse to eat at Tottos.
