The service was the worst ever. Drinks were brought without trays and we waited ages! Seemed a very amateur approach. food was nice though although portions too big and again the wait was unacceptable. I won't go again.

Seasons – ChorleyBeautiful place ,great service ,very good food and authentic Italian ambience. We will go back again!!!
La Veranda – RawtenstallWe and numerous friends have been dining here for a number of years. The food is excellent, to a high quality especially compared to other restaurants in the area. The owners Nigel and Ysanne have really turned this place around, it has a good atmosphere, the staff who are mainly young people provide an excellent service, obviously trained to a high standard. The wine and whisky list are extensive in different price brackets and the views over the river are hard to beat. One special mention - Greig Barnes, head chef and his kitchen, they have been catering for me being a vegan diner for all these years and I cannot thank them enough for all the time and effort they put into making some of the best meals I have had the pleasure of eating
Spread Eagle – ClitheroeWe visit the Green Man whenever we get the chance, the food and the staff are excellent. My wife is a chef and can be a little fussy when it comes to eating out, but cannot find fault with anything on the menu. The food is locally sourced and comes in sizeable portions which is a winning combination in my eyes.
Green Man – Prestonfab food good service you must try this
The Walton Arms – AccringtonOur second visit here and we were not disappointed. Although we live quite a distance away we feel it well worth the journey, the staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble.
Amico Mio – ClitheroeThe food is excellent, tasty homemade pies and excellent homemade Sunday lunches homemade Yorkshire puddings and generous portions. Tasty fresh food.
Border Rose – TodmordenWe went here on a lovely summers evening and decided to share a bottle of rose outside before our meal - well we paid a mind boggling £18 for a bottle of Echo Falls!! £4 in the local off licence!! The food was ok but portions were small and the service very slow. Staff were pleasant but this was not enough to redeem the evening. Would not go back even though we are local.
The Halfway House – ChorleyIts rare indeed these days to find a genuine italian family restaurant. The chef and staff are real italians, the atmosphere transports you to Italy, there is no other italian restaurant in the country that compares to this little treasure in England. the food is second to none and the portions are every bit italian size, MMMMMMMM. There is no pretention here: you get fed and you feel like a king. well done guys keep the good work and character going.
Fresco Fresco – LeylandThe Shajan is the VERY best Indian restaurant that I have ever been to -- and yes, I have been to a great many all over the country ( and some in other countries as well). The staff are excellent, the food heavenly, the atmosphere heavenly .......... etc. I could go on and on. I have never had to wait long myself, and I always go to the bar first. The manager is one of the nicest, most welcoming men you could hope to meet as well.True, it can get VERY busy, so book your table in advance --- or do like I do, get there as soon as it opens! I go about every two weeks ( more if I can), and only have good things to say about the place. I hear that some people say they get rushed! Well I for one have NEVER found that to be the case, and I usually spend around two hours there each time I go! If you like Indian food --- it DOESN'T get better than this place.
Shajan – BlackburnBeen here many, many times and always delighted. Last night we went to the tenner evening and it was so average. Desperate need of professionalism in menu and service. We would rather have paid more and not been disappointed. Soup on one of the tables went back three times before they abandoned it. May be we chose a bad night but sadly we are unlikely to return despite our previous satisfaction. The cheap price on a Tuesday is very short termism for repeat customsrs.
Haighton Manor Country House Hotel – PrestonI have been a couple of times to this indian restaurant & can defo recommend a visit to it. Although the prices are quite dear for what you get it is very very tasty. There are some lovely comfy sofas to sit on whilst you wait & browse through the menu & the staff are all really friendly.
Nellie The Elephant – PrestonExcellent food at a price you would expect for this kind of quality. I am of Asian decent and asked to make my Chicken Shajan a medium/hot and did I love it. Starter and pop's were very good, very up pleasant experience on I would take my family to for sure :).
Shajan – BlackburnThis is by far the best indian restaurant I have visited throughout the north west. I have been many times & just keep coming back. The food is absolutely divine, it can be a bit pricey but worth it & the staff are all very friendly & helpful. Defo recommend this place!
Sagar Premier – Prestonfood excellent i heard they had a good head chef so went to find out and wasn't disappointed the tall man behind the bar was very helpful and courteous
Smiths Arms – PrestonVisited on 28th October for dinner, having last visited about 10 years ago. The menu was different, the food was excellent, we were made welcome and found the dining room not too crowded and it had a rustic charm. A thoroughly enjoyable visit which I intend to repeat.
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeAlthough the Whittakers Arms is not the worst meal i've had, it would be fair to say it was close. on the up side the staff are very pleasant and friendly.
Whitakers Arms – AccringtonIt is very rare that I would go out of my way to write a review but after a recent visit to Dante's we were so disappointed I felt the need. The waiters were rude and unhelpful and the food poor (though the wine was very good). My smoked salmon pizza was covered in white fatty bits of what I can only assume was salmon! Throughout our meal the bright security light shone in through the window into our faces. This was something other customers also commented on to us. We were over charged which from other reviews I see is very common at this venue and friends and family have also said that they have also been overcharged in the past. When we brought this to the attention of a waiter he said he could not understand what our problem was and would not sort it out. Eventually he came back and asked what was wrong with it. We pointed out that they had put on 2 extra main courses. After waiting for the corrected bill for 15 mins we decided to go to the desk and pay. Here we were met an even ruder individual. We explained what had happen in a jovial way to then be asked 'What do you wnat me to do about it?' 'I'm sorry sir but I don't really care'. Although Dante's is a budget restaurant I still I expect a small degree of customer service and unfortunately that was not provided. Sadly, I do not recommend Dante's to anyone and be sure to check your bill!
