The Pudding House at Wallings Farm – LancasterOne of the best Indian meals I have ever tasted. Well worth a visit
Masala Indian and Bangladeshi Restaurant and Takeaway – MorecambeOnce again excellent food and service at jade palace. Would highly recommend the salt and pepper tiger prawns but everything is great. Need to book well worth it
Jade Palace – BarnoldswickGreendale is set in the heart of the picturesque Ribble Valley nestled between the villages of Chatburn and Downham (AKA Ormston from the BBC series Born and Bread). I found the traditional English menu to be of an exceptionally high standard and although the waitress were young and inexperienced they made up for it in politeness and helpfulness.
Greendale View Kitchen and B&B – ClitheroeExcellent, very enjoyable meal and cheap too. However did not enjoy that smoking was allowed inside.
Greendale View Kitchen and B&B – ClitheroeMy family go to this place all the time. I went years ago and it was a little too posh now its fab. The food is really nice we dine out all the time in Chester/Cheshire area and nothing has ever come close. We were celebrating a 25th birthday the staff are really nice the drinks are a bit pricey but the food is so good for value I think it was £17.95 a head or round about. We had lots to drink and it only came to £40.00 per head 3 course meal lots of wine and more. It? that good my friend is going to book her wedding there! It? a must to go!!
West Tower Country House – OrmskirkThe best food outside of china town! Very impressed and would recommend to everybody!!!
Trungs Restaurant – CarnforthI am a curry-holic and have eaten curry all over the country. Sukhis is by far the best for food and service you will find anywhere. The mouthwatering richness of flavours combined with fast friendly service puts this curry house at the top of my list. Try it you will not be disappointed.
Raj Mahal – DarwenVery good food, cost average, lovely people who own the place, very friendly.
Empire Chinese Takeaway – BlackburnGreat Food, friendly staff high recommendation to anyone who loves Indian food. Actually I forgot to mention its probably the best curry I've had. Keep up the good work.
King Karai – Prestonthe food and service was excellent. Set in a lovely area. Highly recommended.
Green Man – PrestonI found the pudding house had a lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious. The staff were helpful and polite therefore I would recommend this restaurant to all food lovers.
The Pudding House at Wallings Farm – LancasterThis has got to have been one of the nicest meals we have ever had. We went to West Tower as a special birthday treat. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff were professional and attentive but not too in your face. The food at £17.95 for a 3 course meal Monday to Friday was very reasonable as the food covered everyone? taste and was perfectly cooked. I cannot fault it, you must go!!!!
West Tower Country House – OrmskirkWell im 15 and live quite close to mamas and me and my family have it every weekend for tea, its delicious! you just cant beat it!
Mammas Pizzeria – BlackburnA VERY GOOD RESTAURANT . A CONTEMPORARY INTERIOR AND A CONTEMPORARY MENU. TODMORDEN IS MOVING UP IN THE WORLD!
Vedas – TodmordenDon? tell anyone about this one, they will all want to try it! We all had the brazed lamb as main course from the specials menu board, really enjoyed the meal, first class service.
Grey Mare Inn – BlackburnBooked on a Saturday eve as a party of 8 had been recommended by many of my business friends. to thymes surprise we arrived with 12 and was soon accommodated with no fuss. The waiting staff were very on the ball and extremely polite. we eat of the ala carte menu and wasn? disappointed, tasty well presented and will definitely be back for more, excellent selections of wine. Desserts were excellent and very fancy. all in all an excellent dining experience. Price was average but we most certainly expected it to be more (excellent)
The Sirloin Inn – PrestonWe regularly eat here, either just my girlfriend and I or sometimes the whole family. We mainly go during happy hour (5.30pm - 6.30pm) where you can get a full-size pizza or pasta dish for less than a fiver. The drinks are reasonably priced as well. The places is usually busy and I would strongly recommend booking for Friday & Saturday nights as we have arrived a couple of times at 6pm and been told the next available table was 9pm! The food is of a consistently high standard and there is an 'open' kitchen where you can see the food being prepared. We have been more than half a dozen times now and each time the food has been excellent, as has the price! Highly recommended.
