Up market Ribble Valley Chinese. Good food, trendy modern surroundings, lots of helpful young staff. It can get noisy and you do need to book but it is well worth a visit. It's not cheap though!

Yu And You – BlackburnI go to Francos a lot and I think the food is great!!! I love Luigi and Barbara, and all the rest of their staff
Francos – LongridgeThis is an excellent restaurant I would recommend it. It is very good
Italian Orchard – PrestonWhenever I go it's always packed out and it's necessary to book - speaks for itself really. Fully recommend the salt and pepper ribs!
Jade Palace – BarnoldswickYou've seen it on many a sign outside a pub "Good Food, Friendly Welcome". Well this does exactly what it says on the tin! The food is all freshly prepared and really tasty with plenty of local influence. The friendly warm welcome is reinforced with a fantastic pint of "best" from the local Copper Dragon Brewery and a good quality wine list starting at £9 per bottle rounds off what can only be described as the best pub meal I've had this year. Value for money? - You bet!
The Buck Country Pub – ClitheroeReally good old English restaurant. It has a warm and homely feel. The food is presented well and is typical English country fayre. Very tasty. There is a great selection on the menu, which is cooked to order and not pre-packaged as in the large chains. Set in the countryside it is a definite will visit again.
Ye Horns Inn – PrestonStripped wood floors, charming staff, EXCELLENT food and really good value add up to an experience that has to be repeated. Chorley needs more restaurants this good!
Seasons – ChorleyVery nice pub, with excellent service.
Parkers Arms – ClitheroeWe visited this restaurant last year for a special occassion and never made it back there until recently. We have made up for that by going twice in as many months! I cannot say enough good things about this Restauarant. The head waiter is simply one of the nicest men you would ever hope to meet, and he never forgets a face. He remembered us from last year when we went last month. And when we went on Saturday, he told us not to stay away for as long next time. He makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed and really looks after you. We decided to go for pasta and pizza this time as we always have steak (as it is divine!). Well, we certainly weren't disappointed. The pizza was extremely tasty with a very generous amount of topping. My boyfriend also really enjoyed his pasta with spicy chorizo sausage in tomato and basil sauce. Both dishes were very well presented and tasted exquisite. Once again, a fantastic meal, made all the more memorable by fantastic service and excellent laid back ambience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWhat a great, friendly pub. Everything a pub should be! Food is great (try the hotpot!!!) and the beer is near perfect! (I reserve the perfect mark for the pint at Black Sheep brewery bar at Masham!) but all in all a great pub I will happily revisit when I am next in the north.
The Buck Country Pub – ClitheroeIt was a good place to eat out for tea. It is relaxed and it has lovely food.
Vincents Restaurant – PrestonHaighton Manor is a good restaurant even if it? a one to one with a loved one or a family meal and friend. The food is very good and I think the restaurant is outstanding.
Haighton Manor Country House Hotel – PrestonIt was fun and I love the food and my family like it. I've not been there for a long time. I miss the food. I like the pizzas they were excellent. I would go there again.
Francos – LongridgeLove the atmosphere. Better when you're with a group of friends/family. Been a few times and always been pleased with the food - steaks are superb and the duck and lamb also great. House wine is very good and very reasonable. Have recommended JJ's to lots of people and they have all said they will go again.
JJ’s Cafe Bar Restaurant – BurnleyThe food here is exceptional and the service fantastic. I have been here twice and both times been very impressed with the tastiness and quality of the food. Brilliant for vegetarians. I would definitely recommend a visit.
Bukhara – PrestonNinos Rossendale not Blackburn. Quite simply the best Italian restaurant you could ever visit. Quality has never diminished in all the years we have been going. Unbeatable value for children probably anywhere in the uk.
Nino’s Rawtenstall – RawtenstallWe had an excellent meal. We expected it to be very pricey and went for a special occasion and were very pleasantly surprised. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back. The only thing we dislike was that the background music was a bit loud and we had to shout to hear each other.
Zio Ristorante – BurnleyI live very close to the curry mile in Manchester so when friends of mine told me about this restaurant I took it all in my stride. A few friends met at the restaurant and before I arrived they had ordered a leg of lamb. I have never tasted such tender meat that melts in your mouth what can you say ?elicious". Of all the Indian restaurants I have been to this must be at the top.
