Golden Dragon – LancasterI have been to Buffet @ Preston a few times & I think it is really really good. It has a relaxed atmosphere & is always really busy whatever day you go & whatever time. Really good for work dos etc & really good food for what your paying.
Buffet@Preston – PrestonWhat a fantastic time we had! very enjoyable, food was fab!!
West Tower Country House – OrmskirkI have visited this place twice and both times found the food and service excellent. The setting was breath taking try and get there before the sun sets and have a drink outside before sitting down for your meal. Not to be missed
The Three Fishes – ClitheroeWhat an excellent place, the food was piping hot although very traditional all the dishes had a very modern twist. The friendliness of the staff was exceptional, warm, efficient, very professional but not over facing. The views from the restaurant where sensational, and coffee was served on the patio, nothing to much trouble. We will be returning
Shireburn Arms Hotel – ClitheroeThis place has definitely got the wow factor. Stunning food from a very extensive menu, Copper Dragon Real Ales on 3 hand pumps, and a price tag that does not melt your plastic. If you play darts or pool in the Settle league you get a fantastic free supper, and the Quiz on a Friday rocks. Get to the Buck at Paythorne folks you wont be disappointed.
The Buck Country Pub – ClitheroeOutstanding value, excellent food, good atmosphere. Hesitate to recommend it too highly as we want to be able to get in again, without it being too busy! Seriously - a definite 'try it for yourself' - you won't be disappointed
The Buck Country Pub – ClitheroeA very friendly neighbourhood restaurant, where you are made to feel very welcome. The food is regional north Italian, in particular Umbrian, so no pizzas. But excellent pastas and cheese platters are very inexpensive. Meat and fish dishes are always good. The food is authentic and the wines are excellent. Cinzia will recommend the appropriate wine to your food choices if you want. We had a slightly sparkling red on her suggestion to go with a cheese and salad platter, which matched the food perfectly. Children are always made to feel welcome. A lovely restaurant
La Locanda Ristorante Italiano – ClitheroeTo be honest had never heard of Pythorne and my wife and I were invited to join some friends for a special meal. The place advertises the perfect pint, remarkable food and a lovely warm welcome and to be honest it does exactly what it says on the tin. The lancashire hotpot beats any i have had when eating out my good lady settled for whole seabass with fresh chillies garlic and herb butter which was cooked to perfection and to top the whole thing they served copperdragon golden pippin and a fine selection of house wines. The prices where more than reasonable and we regularly attend the premises for the best Sunday roast this side of Yorkshire or is it Lancashire. Whatever well worth the travelling.
The Buck Country Pub – ClitheroeFantastic, Chaotic, Little Italian restaurant in a lovely area of Croston. Just how an Italian restaurant should be.
Fresco Fresco – LeylandHave been a customer since it opened and can only say it's been first class from day 1
Sagar Premier – PrestonThis was our second trip, just to make sure the first wasn't a fluke! An excellent, cosy, intimate dining room, with a lovely ambience and excellent food. Service is extremely friendly and down to earth, and the whole place is very "at home". Highly Recommended!
Park Restaurant Hotel – PrestonWhere else will you be treated as a friend as well as a valued customer! We eat here at least once a week and get a take away around twice a week and we are never disappointed - If you haven? been yet, you don't know what you are missing. Try my favourite dish - King Prawn Rangoon - heaven on a plate
Anaz Indian Restaurant – DarwenAbsolutely outstanding menu, quality far outweighing the cost. Good choice of guest beers on tap and great service. Very much recommended
Original Farmers Arms – ChorleyThis is the best Pub Fayre i have ever come across. All home cooked quality food in a friendly atmosphere. My wife asked for cheese and biscuits after her meal what she couldnt eat kept me in butties for work for two days! and they were more than happy to doggy bag.........my daughter assures me its the best ice cream shes ever had....sorry bonds and fredericks! Nice well priced wine & bubbly too!
Original Farmers Arms – ChorleyBRILLIANT
Balti House – BlackburnWe recently visited the Bangla Fusion as part of our Curry Tour of the North West, it hasn`t changed much in 9 months except to say that they have become over fussy and the portions are more meager than we remember.. The food was good and yes, as the driver of the party I was surprised at having to pay for water. Perhaps the "Halo" is slipping a bit.
Nellie The Elephant – PrestonHow on earth do you comment on culinary perfection. This restaurant has it all. Friendliness, warmth of atmosphere, wonderful service and food fit to grace anyone? platter. Thank you to The Sultan What else can one say?
