The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallSuch a little gem in Chorley, brings us a touch of the Mediterranean. Their cheese toastie is the best I've ever tasted and with the additional seasonal wild garlic, it was absolutely delicious. The service is friendly and efficient and it's such a cosy place. Be sure to book as it's very popular.
Time For Mezze – ChorleyMy friend and I went yesterday for afternoon tea. It was amazing. The food was delicious. The best afternoon tea we have ever eaten. The sandwiches were on the softest grannery bread, the sausage roll was so good we wanted to buy some to take home, but they weren't ready (still baking). I'm not even a fan of sausage rolls, but these are so good. The soup was gorgeous. All of it was fabulous. We don't live in Chorley, but will be making a monthly trip here for lunch, its that's good.
