Fantastic staff especially Amelia who was our Waitress for most of the Evening, she could actually run the place in our opinion! Food was spot on, compliments sent to the chef, although Ice cream missing off dessert but was rectified on the bill, happy birthday sang to my daughter by another waitress very kindly, very cosy atmosphere, very family friendly, and dog friendly, small incident with a local lady I’m lead to believe but at the end of the day it’s a pub as well as a restaurant, you will get that where booze is served it didn’t spoil our meal but was unnecessary behaviour by her. I did mention it to staff as we had young children with us and the language and behaviour was unacceptable, There was a singer coming in for entertainment near were we were sat he was going to be setting up, we didn’t feel rushed or pushed but a table that had just arrived was apparently being moved to ours, we had decided to leave anyway by this time so no issue occurred. Yes I’d go again for a quick pub lunch or dinner but maybe not a celebratory dinner. I’ve given 5/5 for Amelia the server.
