A group of us came for Sunday lunch after a visit to Gresgarth garden We had a warm welcome from some lovely young staff and we were all very satisfied with the meals we had. Good quality well presented and ample portions Very happy indeed Thankyou.

Great food but I found the children’s meal advertised online are a lot less than are in the restaurant which I find is falsely advertised £3 more expensive but apart from than you cannot fault it

Beautiful meal with excellent service. Lively pub atmosphere with plenty of space around tables without feeling crammed in. The dog menu is a great idea and ours enjoyed some lovely treats and clean water. Good choice of cask beer and lovely coffee served.

The Station Hotel was so friendly and welcoming. We were staying in the area and could not have chosen a nicer place to come for dinner. All the staff were wonderful, very helpful and so friendly. The food was good but the portiins are huge so make sure you arruve hungry!! We really enjoyed ourselves.

A lovely friendly pub with quality food that is plentiful! The staff are very polite and helpful and nothing is too much trouble! Highly recommended!

Another fantastic meal at the witch. We always eat here when visiting our daughter. Great food, great selection of ales and ciders, and very dog friendly. This time my wife couldn't finish her fish and chips- too big for her. And I had a pizza, and can honestly say it was one of the best I've had. Just keep on doing what you're doing!

Very accommodating, good menu with some classics and some interesting twists, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. A good all-round family-run pub.
