I dine here every couple of months and am never disappointed. Consistently great food. The staff are amazing and the atmosphere is relaxed. Made the effort to get there for brunch last Sunday. Revelation. Had truly wonderful eggs Benedict for a fiver.

This is the best place in Leeds to eat on a lunchtime. The food is wonderful and cheap. Forget anywhere else, just eat here.

This isn't a standard curry house menu. It's different, subtle and exotic. I eat some meat but this makes a lovely change. We have been several times now for outings from work and if you request a meal for the group to share, you really get a treat !

Stunning. Simply stunning. Every time I visit it gets better. Gorgeous food, great service, and always always busy so great atmosphere. In my opinion, still the best restaurant in Leeds by a long way. Love it!

The food is of first class quality and the service, throughout the week is very good. It probably has to be the best value for money food and drink establishment in Leeds. Raph, the Chef and Daniel the Manager are a great team and provide a good ambiance for my lunch most days. - Thanks lads!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this place is an oasis in a city of madness, the food is exquisite and the atmosphere is warm, welcoming and friendly. i would say that it is the best pizza i have had outside of italy. i would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves itallian food and a taste of the warm itallian culture.

Akbars is one of the best restaurants I've come across in United Kingdom. You sure will enjoy the food with a touch of excellent service. A must to try place if you are a food lover.

went on 7 th November with friends and found this place and its food really nice! very good atmosphere and music, the candles on the tables beautiful. Would recommend La Vina always.

I had a party for my birthday of 30 people at labesi restaurant, it was an absolute amazing time. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere brilliant and the food incredibly delicious. I am regular at LaBesi but everytime i got there it is always a thrill. They also have their Christmas menu on which i'm planning on having another party. This place is as close to Italian as you can get. Thank You LaBesi and to all the staff, you are amazing.

Very disappointing lunch venue. On the face of it the menu, although limited, was interesting, but the delivery was completely unacceptable. Poor service and very poor food standard. £30 for two people. The bowl of olives at £2 was a complete joke - there must have been all of 4!! We would NEVER eat there again - a complete rip off.

Standard. Used to be amazing, great bar-tenders, great atmosphere, great food. Now it's just same old, same old. Last year they had the best and most accommodating boys and girls in Leeds. It was a pleasure to go, now it's boring and mundane. I hate to be negative but this lot have destroyed a winning formula. Bring back Mike (long hair) Rachel (tall) Claire (fun) and everyone we liked! HBOS is having a hard time, but we would bring it back for the Lounge. We don't want to go elsewhere but the service and food good times have disappeared! So upset, we loved you guys. Where has all the energy gone? And who is that angry man in the waistcoat? Still recommend Lounge, but we need some help! Great relationship gone sour!

I wasn't overly impressed. The food was fine, but nothing special, but it was served on a cold plate so the food went cold quickly. The staff looked scruffy and my beer came in a can. Maybe having been to Ramsey's has spoiled me, but the Scarborough Taps would have been a better option. Passable but that's it.

Possibly some of the best and most authentic Italian food I have ever enjoyed, and I have been travelling to Italy for the last 20 years for business and pleasure. Vitto the owner, is the kind of hands on restaurant owner that all restaurant owners should aspire to. Genuine friendliness, very knowledgeable, and with an eye for detail. The interior is simple and understated, welcoming and homely. I hugely recommend this place, the sort of restaurant you like to keep as a well guarded secret so that you never struggle to get a table there. Go Go Go ....its terrific!

Visited recently on a weekday lunchtime, we had just missed the rush and were almost the only ones in there so would be unfair to comment on atmosphere. However the waitress was polite, friendly and attentive (not that there was much else to do) We chose six dishes off the main menu, including monkfish, tigerprawns and chicken & chorizio skewers. All the dishes were excellent, the food was well cooked and tasted very fresh. All in all the meal came to £50 which included two lagers and two large glasses of wine. would recommend this restaurant to anyone and it easily beats its local tapas competition!

tonight we visited the new akbars cafe on Leeds road in bradford, the place looks wonderful, unfortunately we were greeted at the door immediately to be told they didn't do the sort of curries we would like and the doorman did his best to dissuade us against eating there. the cafe was filled with Asian people and we were made to feel very unwelcome, we were told to eat at the restaurant where we would be served with the sort of curries we like. what happened to choice and liberation however, we will be visiting neither restaurant or cafe again

Just had my first experience at Bibis Leeds and I was very disappointed. The food was ridiculously overpriced for what I would say was a very average meal. For instance, the "roasted garlic and minted olive oil" lamb chops which I could have easily cooked at home (if I couldn’t be bothered to cook that night) tasted of nothing more than grilled lamb chops. I’m amazed that some reviews are actually positive. From reading a handful of reviews it seems that this restaurant relies heavily on its past reputation. The service was poor, no one bothered to check if we enjoyed our meal at any point of the evening (we didn’t!). As a result we felt obliged to remove the included optional service charge. The one positive which we took from the evening was that we enjoyed the starter and deserts however this does not mean we will ever consider returning.
