My favourite place to eat. Easy, cheap & great tasting food.
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreA learning experience! There are things on the menu here that I've never even seen in Chinatown in London, Liverpool or Manchester. Take a risk and order something you don't know - everything I've had here has been fascinating, superbly cooked and presented and usually an exciting taste experience. Friendly staff and comfortable if rather old-fashioned surroundings make this a fine place to explore Chinese food. It's going to take a lot of visits to work my way through everything that looks fascinating!
Red Chilli – Leeds City CentreThe Menu is a mix of all sorts. Really healthy food as most of the main courses are stir-fried. I have eaten Norman's a few times and tried out the most of their dishes. My favourite is Pad Thai (like the ones I have had in Thailand) and the Salmon is very light and fresh. There is no pretence here at all with the staff so laid back but still attentive. I like the that aloofness. Above all it is a bargain £5 for all main courses all day Monday and between 12-3pm Tuesdays to Friday. It caters for all sorts. They have burgers and Sunday breakfast on the menu as well, though not tried it yet. Will let you know when I have. I highly recommend Norman's for a place to eat.
Norman – Leeds City CentreAnother superb restaurant from Akbars. The best Indian in Leeds. The place has a buz about it and they can never do enough to make you feel welcome. The food is excellent, and the price is very modest.
Akbars – Leeds City CentreThis has to be the best Indian in Leeds, just superb. The food is excellent, and the service is impeccable. You will not be disappointed. Well done.
Akbars – Leeds City CentreWas in here a few weeks ago with a few lads who used to live in Leeds & lived with 'Hollywood'.... well Gaz 'Hollywood' Haywood you have made a real good bar there mate, good mix of music, drink and atmosphere.... keep up the good work and I hope to visit you again soon...
Boutique – Leeds City CentreSmall cool indie bar has an independent feel, whether it is or not I don? know. Friendly staff, popular lunch menu frequented by local office workers. Similar bars in Leeds are Fab or Dr Wu's.
Baby Jupiter – Leeds City CentreWe discovered the Sheesh Mahal one cold rainy night 3 years ago and what a find! We try and go at least once a week and have got to know most of the staff now. They greet you with a warm, friendly smile and you always feel like you are very special. What can I say about the food - supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!!! Dine at the Sheesh Mahal and I guarantee you won't be able to keep away. Its a Leeds treasure
Azram’s Sheesh Mahal – Leeds City CentreVery good atmosphere. Staff attentive but very forgetful. Children? menu OK apart from someone? idea of an ice-cream sundae being a scoop of ice cream and a small bag of chocolate buttons. Salad inclusive with adult meal leaves a lot to the imagination, although a "house salad" can be purchased for £2.95 extra. Deserts were quite nice.
Frankie and Bennys – Leeds City CentreSimply the best noodles I have ever tasted, in fact the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. What a lovely restaurant, brilliant service in lovely surroundings, what more can I say.
Red Chilli – Leeds City CentreExcellent food. Although there was a wait for a table, this was well worth it. The cocktails are also fabuous!!
Bibis Italianissimo – Leeds City CentreA friend and I had booked here for a treat because we had read about it in a magazine! When we arrived the restaurant was closed due to work being done on the hotel, we were so disappointed as we had looked forward to it for so long! However we were offered to sample the food but in the bar complimentary and I have to say the food was outstanding and I can? wait to return in the proper restaurant to get a true feel for the place! We only had wine to pay for which was more than your average restaurant but even if we paid full price would have been worth every penny! 10 out of 10 for food presentation and taste and culinary expertise! We couldn? fault it and loved it! Thank you!
Chino Latino – Leeds City Centrei went to the restaurant just by chance, we had to wait a bit for a table as it was busy-i didn? mind as the gentleman behind the desk was very friendly. we got a nice cosy table in the corner and chose a preset menu. the food was absolutely fantastic. ive never eaten such good Chinese food. the only wrong thing was one of the waiting staffs miserable face but as all of us there work in the catering industry, we could understand that it was a busy night for them and its hard to always smile. I know live in Southampton and i wish there was a restaurant like that here. I would recommend it to anybody any day! The location is also ideal for a night out!
Red Chilli – Leeds City CentreHaving been to Thailand on holiday 3 times it was always going to be a struggle to find the same standard of freshness and quality back home. Chaophraya more than exceeded my expectations. The service was second to none, the atmosphere authentic and the food absolutely fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant. I took my parents there a few months ago - the first time they had eaten Thai. They are now addicted! Superb!
Chaophraya – Leeds City CentreEveryone should eat here. The food is lovely and its suitable for dates, business lunches, catching up with friends and taking your mum to. Been about 8 times in the past three years and never been disappointed.
Little Tokyo – Leeds City CentreThis is without doubt the finest Thai restaurant We have eaten in. The surroundings are all original Thai. The menu is extensive though the professional staff (all in their authentic Thai dress) make understanding easy and the standard of service cannot be faulted. The biggest surprise of the evening was the bill, modest for this standard of dining. We have no hesitation of recommending to friends.
Chaophraya – Leeds City CentreWhat a lovely little restaurant, had the Christmas menu the starter, main and dessert were outstanding very nice, and taking your own wine was no problem... will definitely go back in the new year.... excellent all round. . .
La Besi Restaurant – Leeds City CentreGreat food and staff who make you feel more than welcome. The place was buzzing at 7.30pm on a Friday night and had a wonderful atmosphere. We certainly had no complaints about the yummy sangria!
