Another delicious meal at Denmans. This place is a real treasure. Great food and great atmosphere. You can't go wrong with the mid week special offer, particularly with a couple of half price cocktails! We've never had a bad dish. The duck bon bons are my favourite - absolutely delicious!

The food was excellent, but was let down badly by the very poor service. We waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order for coffees, and that was after going to find someone. After waiting another 20 minutes and no drinks arriving, we decided we’d had enough and wanted the bill, but there was no sign of anyone, so we had to seek someone out. Needless to say, this was a very disappointing Christmas lunch for the four of us..

We ate off the Christmas fixed price menu which we thought was very good value. The only disappointment is that we live too far away to visit again in the near future, otherwise we would definitely be back!
