A firm favourite since moving here a couple of years ago. Food is always exceptional in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. So good we ordered extra chowder to take home, comes with prepared sauces, instructions to finish off - so easy the other half, who never cooks, managed it!

Le Bistro Des Amis – SkiptonAbsolutely perfect, attentive service. The large breakfast I ordered was huge, so be never seen anything like it. Despite arriving hungry with a big appetite, I only managed slightly more than half, but nothing went to waste as I have two pooches who were very grateful. It is not just about the quantity, the quality of the bacon, sausages, eggs were superb and absolutely delicious. Tables nearby said they’d be coming back and ordering this. Service with a smile, excellent food quality and plenty of it, what more could you ask for?

It tastes delicious, packed full of fish and the the sauce if full of flavour! My daughter had scampi then we shared coconut ice cream for desert. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!

Really nice food, large portions and very reasonably priced. Our waitress Claire was really chatty, full of fun and a pleasure to talk to. I would recommend booking a table as it’s often full at peak times. Definitely a place to return to for more!!!

They have all settled well and are very spoilt with healthy snacks and lots of fuss. Staff were lovely as always. Such a great experience, it may seem expensive at first but it’s worth every penny. It’s one of our favourite things to do in the school holidays.
