I’m already looking through my 2025 diary and arranging to book my next few visits.
Little Sicily – BridlingtonFirst visit 4th January 2024 as a family of four and all the food was excellent, without exception. The front of house staff, which seemed to comprise two young girls, were polite and friendly enough but I felt, especially as the evening became busier, they were slightly out of their depth or lacked training and leadership, as the more diners arrived the slower and slightly more chaotic the service became. The wait between main course and dessert was far too long. While I will return, as I have no complaints about the food, I would make sure I was an early booking again as I am not sure, despite their best efforts, the front of house staff can cope with a full house. It would, I think, benefit the owners to look at the front of house situation as I could easily see disgruntled diners from the slow and erratic service.

Lookout On The Pier – ScarboroughWe visited Lookout On The Pier on 02 Jan 25, whilst we were on holiday on a recommendation from friends. The food and service were excellent even on a busy lunchtime. I'd added a note to our booking to say we had a Border Collie with us and would appreciate a table close to a wall. The staff had reserved us the perfect spot and got our Collie, Derek, a bowl of water which was very welcome after a good run on the beach. Thanks to the whole team for a great experience. We'll definitely be back!

It’s popular for a reason, a hidden gem. Between us we ate fish and chips and chowder, all excellent and generous portions, we will definitely return.
