White Gate, The – MirfieldMy boyfriend and i always go to moghuls whenever we go out for an Indian. We wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff are really friendly, chatty and very attentive. The food is always good and we can never pick any fault with anything. We went last Saturday night and can't wait to go back again.I would definitely recommend moghuls to everyone who enjoys a good curry because i know that they would never be disappointed.
Moghuls – KeighleyWe had a lovely Valentine's meal at the Duke, the food was lovely, reasonably priced and the staff were very attentive and polite. Lovely good old Yorkshire Hospitality. We will be back soon ...
Duke of York – HalifaxPURE CLASS !!
Rico’s – RoundhayI am a chef in Bradford and have been using the Punjab for over 10 years, on the week I moved house I ate there every night! When I owned a local English restaurant my chefs and I ate there on our split shift break every Saturday. Reliable, always good, sometimes brilliant, the punjab never disappoints. Try the spicy chapple kebabs, the excellent masala fish and superb curries like saag gosht and karahi punjabi chicken as well as authentic specialities such as paya and niharee lamb. But above all eat the breads, hot and fresh from the tandoor.
Punjab Sweet House and Chargrill Centre – BradfordHad a brilliant Karahi Ghost there on Friday with two friends, accompanied by the best Perswari Naan I have ever had. Be warned however that this is an Indian for Indians. No alcohol, just regularly filled flip top bottles of cold, crystal clear free water. All for £11 per head including Poppadoms and pickles, starters, main course, rice, nanns and roti. Yum yum!
Punjab Sweet House and Chargrill Centre – BradfordAll I can say is wow! Really fantastic food, lovely textures, great menu and I'm not even veggie. My first time and it's all just superbly yummy! Very reasonable and such fantastic friendly service too, can't wait for my next taste, would highly recommend :)
Prashad – Bradfordwent with a friend for lunch and her 18 month old.i went with family in 2008 and was great even with the kids. Now not a good place they had a wedding on and took over a hour for food had to ask twice for it. never got a receipt for what we paid for, never offered any sort of service at all. We where treated like a nuisance. rather wish they had said they where closed, totally spoilt our day out. Food not that clever as chips burnt and no kids menu , totally another family pub gone to trendy gastro route get a grip families are big day trippers to the chevin.
The Royalty – OtleyRed chili is fab. You'll not see many Chinese people eating in Chinese restaurants except this one. It's the real deal.
Red Chilli – YorkHave been to this place several times over the last 7 or 8 years. It started off excellent and then dipped about 200607.since then the quality of food an the service provided has improved and on my last visit was better than bibis and on a par with casa mia. The meat dishes are my favourite in all italian restaurants and the excellent sauces are a real bonus here..try the Valentino..amazing. Others in my family have really enjoyed the pizza and pasta dishes. The prices are reasonable by any standards but excellent for the quality of food served here.
Valentinos Italian Restaurant – Wakefieldexcellent food, great staff, manager has a smile on this face all the time and every friendly. keep up the good work and you are the best in yorkshire. *****.
Red Chilli II – WakefieldThe lengthy refurbishment of the William is now complete. It has been totally gutted and refurbished to a high standard. It no longer looks like a traditional pub. It was very busy on Saturday night (this may have been because another popular pub, the Moorings is closed for refurbishments). I could spot no evidence that they may be putting on food; but I did not ask if this was the case. They do not serve my favourite draught Lindeboum any more, but I know the suppliers of Lindeboum (James Clay & Son) are offering some bottled samples to see how it sells. The venue is now called The William at Sowerby Bridge.
Williams of Sowerby Bridge – Sowerby Bridgelove it love it love it very nice and cheap recommend to anyone xxx
Lambwath – HullWhat a place, Ginas stew and dumplings is to die for. They do special nights from Polish, Mexican, Fish, etc etc always great and really great value for money. Sunday carvery is always busy. the food is home baked not the plastic stuff that sometimes appears in other places. Specials are on a board every night with the average price being well under £10 and there's no scrimping on the size or the taste. All in all a great little pub that also does great real ales.. what more could anybody ask for !!
The Owl Inn – HorsforthEaten here too many times to list, Great food Great staff, Friendly atmosphere, Does a special deal on wed and sun, fantastic value. would recommend to everyone, I have stopped looking at the menu and asking the owner to surprise me and every time he gets it spot on..
Balti House – WakefieldNot just the best Indian restaurant I have visited (and it tops this category with flying colours) but quite possibly the best restaurant I have ever visited. We've been coming to Prashad for several years now, and we love the friendly feel of the place, and of course the delicious, fresh and authentic food! It seems to improve every time we go, and I am sure we'll be going for many more years.
Prashad – BradfordCOOKING WITH KAUSHY: I had a great birthday when Kaushy Patel of the Prashad taught me how to cook a Gujerati family feast in my own home. Kaushy was a lovely teacher, the menu was excellent and my family thoroughly enjoyed their special feast. And there was more. I have my own spice tray and utensils to keep and Kaushy left me with sufficient ingredients to cook the meal again. Brilliant.
Prashad – BradfordI love the Prashad. I was born and bred in Bradford so (rightly) believe that my city has the best curry houses in Britain. And yes I've tried Brick Lane and the curry mile in Manchester... Fine in their way but if you want the best come to Bradford. And if you want the best of the best go to the Prashad. The fact that this is veggie heaven is irrelevant. The meat eaters I have been with have never come away saying 'ooh I did miss my chicken tikka they come out going 'wow'. This is because the food here is cooked with love. You can tell when you eat it! Fantastic flavours and great value. 3 of us went out on Tuesday night this week and we left full up to our chins having spent under a tenner each! And while I'm getting all giddy I might as well mention the service. It's great. Not because it's particularly polished. It isn't. The waiters haven't been on a course on how to deliver good service. It's great because the guys are just nice people being friendly and considerate. If you want to eat excellent food in a non pretentious friendly atmosphere shout hurrah for the Prashad and get yourselves down.
