Really lovely food. A bit pricier than the usual Italian places in Scarborough but the food is in a different class. Definitely worth a visit.

Lanterna Restaurant – Scarboroughwe went here on the 15/08/09 had a wonderful meal and the best sangria ever friendly staff and a fabulous atmos would definitely go back
Las Iguanas – Leeds City CentreWe brought my sister, brother-in-law and niece who live in the USA and who are visiting us at present for dinner on Sunday evening. We had sung the praises of this unique restaurant in Bradford with Kaushy Patel winning the award of South East Asian Chef of the Year for three years in succession. They were very impressed with what they saw, with the ambience of the place, the friendly staff and above all with the delicious food on offer. They could see why Kaushy had beaten off all the opposition with her magical culinary skills.
Prashad – BradfordWe live in the USA and are visiting my brother and sister-in-law in Shipley. They are showing us around the country and took us to see Bolsover Castle on Sunday. Afterwards we came here for our dinner. They had told us about this gem of a place in Bradford and that Kaushy Patel had been chosen South East Asia Chef of the Year for three years in succession. So we were in great anticipation when we arrived. We were delighted with the place. The menu was brilliant and the food was simply outstanding. The staff were very friendly and this is certainly a gem of a place. In fact it must be the crown jewel of Bradford.
Prashad – BradfordLovely food, friendly and helpful young staff, give it a go you won't be disappointed
Old Horns Inn – SheffieldMy husband and I eat regularly at the Oyster Catcher. The food is always good, although the service unfortunately isn't. The staff are helpful but always under pressure consequently things get forgotten or arrive very late. On our last visit we were presented with the requested pots of tea, tea is only available for on so two pots arrived, one without a lid as it had been lost and the other very stained and with a chipped spout. The server was very apologetic but it is the attention to detail that is important. The decor is wonderful and moves this carvery well in front of local competition (i.e Tobycarvery) and it is good value. The presentation of the teapots devalued the whole experience - dirty, bits missing - do they care? probably but not completely!
Oyster Catcher, The – HullReally wouldn't recommend the restaurant - no atmosphere, cramped and really cheap looking. Food was okay but nothing special, city centre restaurants are far better, if you need something local then I'd stick to a takeaway to be honest.
Curry Lounge – RoundhayThere's new blood at the Maypole in the guise of the lovely Angela and it clearly shows. We are going this evening for their curry night and have had several meals there since the new chef has taken over. The pub serves traditional food alongside dishes such a cajun chicken salad and there's always a pie of the day as well as a good range of specials. There's a decent ale selection and a thoughtful wine choice unlike a lot of pubs in the area and it's obvious that customer service is Angela's key priority. Worth a visit.
Maypole Inn, The – Halifaxmy wife and i took mother and father in law to the fox house for the first time and did nothing but praise the service, food and the place in general and said its the best food they had ever had whilst eating out - everything is superb but especially the steaks, they are cooked to perfection + you get plenty to go with it !!! "try it you will not be disappointed"
Foxhouse Inn – HolmfirthOn 19.8.2009 We decided to call for a meal, the menu was very varied and after due deliberation we chose the Chicken and Bacon salad. On ordering at the bar the barman asked a lady sitting at a table, who must have been the cook if she could provide our order, only to be answered with , I can't remember what goes into a salad, then looking at the menu she said I've only Tomatoes , no Bacon and no Potatoes, the barman apologised and we left to eat elsewhere. Maybe we called on a inconvenient day.
Busfield Arms – KeighleyWe received a warm welcome and and had three real ales to choose from - the Copper Dragon Golden Pippin was especially good. Lovely patio to enjoy on a warm summer's evening. Keen new owner and her chef will surely put it on the map again after being closed/unsettled for a while.
Maypole Inn, The – HalifaxGRAVELEYS CHELTENHAM PARADE HARROGATE has been under new ownership since October 2008 The new owners welcome any future constructive comments and would ask that anyone doing so leave their email address in order for us to respond .. Thank You
Graveleys Of Harrogate – HarrogateI have been going to Chaplins years now (think I was one of there first customers) it never disappoints, everything is homemade which you can tell straight away (even down to the bread rolls), we,ve had our sons 30th birthday there as well and the buffet was excellent, the staff are always friendly and helpful and to me like friends now, keep up the brilliant work Charles, julie, Stephen and the team long live Chaplins.
Chaplins Bistro – KeighleyWe are visiting my uncle and aunt in Shipley. They took us to Bolsover Castle on Sunday and then we came here for dinner. What a quaint little place this is! The menu was simply out of this world. We had a right royal feast. It was a delightful way to end a most enjoyable day. I am not surprised that Kaushy has been awarded the coveted title of South East Asian Chef of the Year for three years in succession.
Prashad – BradfordMy brother and sister-in-law brought us here for dinner on Saturday evening. We were bowled over by the ambience of the restaurant with its unique setting by the riverside. The menu which changes monthly is a great innovation. We had a wonderful meal and a great time. It is no wonder that the Vegetarian Society has given its accolade to this establishment.
Dandelion and Burdock – Sowerby BridgeWe brought my sister, brother-in-law and niece who live in the USA for dinner on Friday evening. We had a great time. The choices on the menu were varied and very inviting. The meal was superb. We would certainly recommend this delightful restaurant.
Hansa’s Cookery School – Leeds City CentreI live very close to lambwath pub. I like to go for a very nice carvery and a beer. I also like to go for a nice catch up with friends occasionally. Staff are very pleasant its lovely and clean. I highly recommend for a carvery nice and cheap you get all the vegetables and a choice of meats turkey, beef or gammon you also get stuffing and a traditional yorkshire pudding which are lovely. If you as you may get 2 yorkshires or 2 stuffing or maybe neither. Highly recommended. nice family lunch and very cheap prices hard to beat!
Lambwath – HullMy uncle and aunt brought us here on Saturday night for dinner. What a cute place, situated right next to a flowing river! I like the idea of a changing menu every month. I have not checked it out but I expect that you place the menu on your web site so that people can see what dishes that month has to offer. This must certainly be the in-place for dining. The food was simply fabulous.
