this is by far the best quality and best value restaurant in the barnsley/rotherham area. very good service too. a real gem. if i lived in wentworth i don't think i would bother having a kitchen :-)

this is the best restaurant in the UK for Chinese in 15 years never had a bad meal nothing is to much effort by the staff and the quality of food it is absolutely first class. Outstanding!!! VALUE FOR MONEY....

Definitely a place to visit. Exquisite cuisine, a miraculous improvement on the last time I visited there six months ago. Great choice and a nice atmosphere. I'd recommend everyone to go. Top marks in my estimation, great for families as I took my wife and 4 year old little girl but shall be returning for a business luncheon. Thankyou!!!

having eaten here many times in the past and being faced with a huge plate full of food I thought I'd visit again this weekend. However, portion sizes have hugely decreased, as has quality, whilst prices have increased quite considerably since the last time I ate here!! Overall I was not impressed with the staff's attitude or that of the management. It appears to me that what used to be a very nice little pub and restaurant is gradually turning into yet another 'town' pub serving poor quality food without paying any attention to the views of their patrons

I think the real critics need see this restaurant because Im sure they will think and know, Napier's is one of the best restaurant in Skipton!! They have a really good menu, they have a really nice staff!!!

I found in Skipton the best restaurant in England. I was on holiday in UK with my girlfriend and we found this magnificent restaurant, with a excellent food, wine and staff. The staff was perfect, like i never seen in my life. I felt like i was dinner with my family and friends in Portugal! Its not the first time i come to UK in holidays, i come about twice per year. Before i went to napiers in North Yorkshire, i thought the english food have nothing special... but now im in love. And its not just me... i know a few people who loves dinner at Napier's restaurant aswell. This moment im in Portugal. I'll go back to UK next week in work to Leeds, and i really go to dinner to Napier's again... Im nobody for give or say reviews about food and restaurants, but about this restaurant i really need talk about! FOOD - ***** STAFF- *****

It seems the Royal Oak have got a new head chef, we were delighted by the specials' board, delightful and delicious home cooked food. Haddock and Prawn pie with lemon mash the best I've tasted in a long time and lots more to choose from. My husband stuffed chicken breast which was to die for. 10/10!

Brilliant pub food, one of the best around. Carvery is amazing and so is grill menu. Huge car park and lovely clean pub inside and out. Will defo come again and again

We went to York for the day and heard about this Restaurant from a few people. Me and my friends had the Deal for £15 for 3 courses and it was lovely. We all loved the food, the service was great and the experience was the best. We were so full we had problems walking after! It is a must you must go to if you love Turkish food - you are not to be disappointed if you go to Kapadokya! I just wish i lived closer so i could go there more often.

What a find - after looking on the net for a "Good Pub" for lunch prior to a formal dinner in the area fell on the Rose and Crown - directions very good BUT food and beer and service and approach to customers was out of this world - only wish i didn't live 180 miles away as i would take up residence If you get chance go and sample the menu the game pie was excellent we are also considering going up for the St Georges day banquet.. can you give 11 of of 10? many thanks to all staff Jon

Just come back from a city break in leeds. Pre Booked Red Chilli, what can i say everything was fantastic. The food the best chinese we have tasted. Had the Courtship menu which was plentiful and very delicious. Service swift only fault was we could have done with a little gap between courses .

This is the best restaurant I have visited in many a year. The staff are superb and the Tennessee Steak is to die for. I am known as a serial complainer but The Foxhouse Inn is without doubt top of the premier league and you will not be disappointed. 10 out of 10. We travelled 15 miles to eat there and if need be I would walk !!!!!

I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. My party of six had a thoroughly enjoyable evening in a very relaxed atmosphere. The food, of which there was much variety, was excellent, well cooked and beautifully presented. The service from the point of booking the table to paying the bill was friendly and efficient. We were very fortunate to meet all of the staff and treated to some beautiful homemade chocolates. I will definitely be dining there again in the very near future. Three cheers to all the staff
