We stumbled across the Old Station Inn by chance on a Sunday afternoon, and we were pleasantly surprised to find this little quiet village pub in Birstwith. We were made to feel welcome and were immediately hit by the aroma of a good Sunday roast. It tasted as good as it smelt. The services was warm and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. I was driving and was pleasantly introduced to a Rick's special non alcoholic drink, which was pleasantly refreshing instead of the usual sweet lime and lemonades i drink. We even had enough room for a sticky toffee pudding which was homemade and divine. We will certainly keep this as a favourite trip out and dine. Well worth the journey. I must remember to thank my co driver that got us lost in the first place.
