Kebabeesh – BradfordThe oldest curry house in west yorkshire, it has been around since the1950s. This in itself says something about its reputation. But the reason why its lasted so long is definitely the food, as i found out. Brilliant curries at very cheap prices and the dining experience overall is excellent. I have to give this place 11 out of 10, adding one extra point for it being right near the Alhambra theatre!

The Bon – GarforthI fealt a little let down although there was not particularly anything that was resoundingly bad. The menu lacked variety but the food was ok. It was a typical pub surroundings but I fealt the place was a bit dull. The waitress was good if not a bit over the top. I won't rush back.
Browns Restaurant – Leeds City CentreGreat food indeed, The fish massala starter is brilliant. Fish in a spicey mealt inthe mouth batter. I wouldn't have said it works but it does. The nan breads are massive. I have been with my girlfriend and with my mates and we all think this place is the best curry house around. Prepared to be proved wrong though.
Akbars Balti Restaurant – BradfordAll in all a good night. The foos was well presented and tasted fine. The wine was kept flowing by a not overpowering waitress. It is also good that the nightclub/pub are kept quite separate. There ready for when you have finished your foood and want to party. Not for the quisine experts but for food and then a dance not bad at all.

Kebabeesh – BradfordIt is not much to look at from outside but once through the door I was pleasantly surprised. Cuban themed decor and music with an excellent atmosphere. The menu is mainly tapas and is attractively priced. I would highly recommend Viva Cuba to anybody as it is my favourite restaurant in Leeds!

Cafe Marinetti – HorsforthHad a lovely romantic meal at Sous. Now i did get lucky that night. However all things considered that was more to do with animal lust than gastronomic ecstacy. The food is: yes, well-presented; yes,relatively substantial. However, the sea-bream had definately suffered from over-exposure to heat, my partners salmon had been cooked to buggery and the dessert was as dry as dust. The wine list, unless i was extremely unfortunate, is marked by it's length and the unavailability of many bottles. The waiters are a mixed bag of the mute, the supercillious and the matey. Not a haunt for a foodie, but,but if i'm not too critical a treat for the masses.
