1st time at Tanvis and it was Christmas day. Nobody wants to work Christmas day but everyone there was polite and made us feel very welcome. Yes it was very busy but it's Christmas day so we were definitely not in a rush and just enjoyed the time there. The food was amazing, really couldn't fault anything at all and we will be back.

Glad we went for the 12 pm sitting as it did get busy around 1:30pm but I suppose it was Christmas day. Thank you for a lovely meal and I'm sure we will be back next year at some point!

We were however disappointed that a lot of the menu we had looked at online is not served on a Saturday night. This should be made clear when booking.

Menu in the Lunch buffet was sufficient. Kids friendly staff and food menu. After spending nearly 2 years in Wakefield , I had good authentic food served as per my requirement. I definitely suggest "TANVI'S" for your next meal.

Food was excellent especially Chicken Karahi and mixed sizzler plate was very nice. Children loved it . Cost slightly on the expensive side for some dishes, feels worth it though. Would visit again .

We heard the waiter telling a table the menu had changed and they wanted it to be more authentic Indian as they had changed chef's, but there's noway that a authentic butter chicken tastes like packet chicken in tomato soup. My partners meal was bland too, weve had better tasting Jars from the supermarket. After listening to 3 tables around us, they all had the same opinion. As the old say goes, if it's not broke don't fix it! We've never been before this week so I fear we've missed out on the good stuff!
Tanvi’s Indian Cuisine – WakefieldCame here on a friends recommendation and wasn't disappointed food was amazing and staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgable the liver tikka was beautifully cooked and my wifes paneer tikka was the best paneer ive tasted i had the goan curry which was heavenly sweet and just hot enough without being too much the garlic naan was light and fluffy and full of garlic mmmmmmmm can throughly recommend if you like indian food thank you

The food is, as always, excellent and we find the dining experience a great night out. There is a wide variety of choice for everyone, service is first class and it is priced really well and it is value for money. If you’ve not been yet I would recommend giving it a go I’m sure you’ll enjoy the experience.
