The food was very good and service also good. However, I had asked for (and I quote) 'Please could we have a table close to back doors as one of our party is disabled and cannot walk far. I can only imagine that your system has AI as it only picked up the word disabled from my request. We had been allocated a table the far side of the room near the disabled toilet. After some discussion we got a table near the door, but your system needs to be a little more flexible. Also I was told on the phone that they were still doing their usual Sunday roast menu. This was not the case and we were forced to pay for a minimum of 2 courses when we only wanted a roast. Not everyone had a big appetite, so maybe bear this in mind for the future.

I've been to The Dove so many times and every time I've had an amazing experience! We went for a Mother's Day brunch yesterday and it was absolutely lovely. The food was wonderful, the service was fab and they brought out a complimentary glass of Proscecco for my mum which was such a great touch.

Had a great meal and drinks with my friend great service would definitely recommend this place.

Welcome was nice, 2 menus on the website,; brunch/breakfast served till 14:00 and lunch (burgers, pizzas, etc.). only the lunch menu given to us on arrival. (12:30pm on a Saturday Turns out, you can only order off the breakfast/brunch menu before 14:00, if everyone else in your booking also chooses from the breakfast/brunch menu. Very odd concept, why not just say, brunch served till 11;30am, or 12:00. Felt like an excuse to encourage a higher spend from the main menu. Food okay. Not offered any condiments, no extra drinks offered… service okay.

Sunday Lunch at The Dove always fantastic. Food of the highest quality, fresh and well presented. Service always good. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Looking forward to bringing our family in March when they come to visit. Well done and thanks to everybody.

The Cheese Shared Starter was the best my Sister and I will definitely be back the mains and dessert are excellent

Fantastic restaurant, food was wonderful and the host was delightful, whole team superb friendly and helpful and made it a really special valentines. Will definitely visit again!

Really lovely meal, I took my wife and my daughter, there was a live singer that had a beautiful voice and the atmosphere was fantastic, I will definitely visit again.

Went for Sunday lunch. Haven't been for a while. Was most impressed with the service. Food was quick to come to the table. Amazing Beef Rump. Never tasted anything as good. My wife had Turkey and equally impressed. Will definitely be back. Thoroughly recommend.

Service was great, staff were all friendly and attentive. Food was really good, I had the turkey roast & a side of cauliflower cheese, it was one of the nicest roasts I’ve had in a while. We liked that there was a smaller portion option for oaps/those with a smaller appetite! Atmosphere & decor really nice & comfortable & spacious. Loads of parking spaces. Would definitely recommend & will be back.

Has ample on site parking. Spacious with good seating. Service was excellent. All queries answered without a fuss even though they were busy. The Sunday roast dinners of roast pork were very generously portioned and delicious as were the specials of pulled pork with loaded chips. Would definitely return and can highly recommend it.
