Wonderful hospitality. Intimate setting. The food was delicious and couldn't put my finger on why. Very subtle flavours and my item from the salmon to fresh pasta was cooked perfectly. 5 stars

So sorry to say very disappointed. We booked a table for 6.30pm got our food at 7.50pm. Menu very poor we didnt feel offering BLT and rolls were really an evening offering. We appreciate the situation and it is difficult to manage but just felt the whole experience was OTT including the owner pulling up a stool and explaining the Covid situation. We came for a night out to relax not be reminded of what's thrown at you where ever you turn just felt this wasnt appropriate. The food was very average and offering a meal deal of a burger soft drink and ice cream at £10 instead of £20 ( goverment eat out scheme) was very excessive I would not of paid £20 for that although we did opt out and just had the main but to be truthful we wouldn't return. So sorry to be negative but I do feel feedback is important to improve. Hope things pick up for you soon.

We decided to go for a meal here due to the eat out scheme, upon booking was told that there was a reduced menu which is fine. When we arrived the place looked lovely and staff very helpful due to the changes at the moment. When we recieved our menu choices I have to say we were very shocked of how limited the menu was. There was a choice of 3 items which I think is very poor even taking into the problems with what’s going on at the moment. If we didn’t have children with us I think we would of left. We also feel that we did not receive value for money either at the cost of £40 plus on a eat out scheme where it’s 50% off is rather excessive so getting on for a total of £70 full price for some burgers and ice cream feels like there is a bit of cheating going on. That saying tho the food was decent and the staff were very good so we will try again at some point but it won’t be on the eat out scheme or until we are back to some sort of normality.

I went with my daughter and two granddaughters for lunch. Of all the places I have eaten out in recently I have to say I felt the safest here . So much thought and effort has gone into keeping staff and customers safe. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly and attentive. We will be back !

We had a great night out. Very relaxed and safe atmosphere with enjoyable food and great service. I feel the hosts have achieved a fantastic safe and comfortable venue in these Covid times. Looking forward to doing it all again next week.

Like everyone we were desperate for a bit of normality and eat out again after staying indoors over lockdown. We chose the Lancaster Arms and were not disappointed. They have come up with a master plan with an alfresco dining experience, which works a treat. They have taken the current situation very seriously in terms of hygiene etc, but it is done in such a professional, calm and friendly manner. Admittedly the menu choice is slim, but you really can’t blame them for this at all. It means that they can provide quality more than quantity! We went for the Steak and Tiger Ale pie, absolutely delicious! We were so impressed with the Lancaster Arms that we have booked again for this week. (Please note you do have to book) Well done to the Manager, and his staff! Great friendly service! Top marks!

Thoroughly enjoyed our outdoor service evening meal on their 2nd night of opening. The outdoor dining area is well laid out and protected from the elements and the table service by the staff is efficient. I would encourage others to enjoy the experience!

Excellent pie, very good portion, attentive service with the landlord coming over to each table. Overall an excellence experience in newly refurbished surroundings both inside and out. Highly recommend. Kieran Henry

From the moment we arrived we felt very safe and cared for. Staff superb . Food really good. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommended!

Came a few weeks ago. Really nice pub and very friendly landlord who took time to go through the necessary C19 precautions with us. Because of this customers were only able to use the garden but this was fine as the tables were set up with social distance in mind. Orders were taken at and food / drink was brought to the table in a very efficient manner. Due to C19 the menu was limited but the ciabattas we had were very enjoyable. Yes would recommend this place for a nice pleasant drink.

Excellent tucker in a very covid-safe environment. Will go again for lunch al fresco, and good beer: one of us particularly liked the Shipyard.

We had a drink here on Sunday. Lovely surroundings very relaxing and very safely delivered. Cannot comment on the food as we did not eat here but it looked good. Can recommend.
