Cheikhos Restaurant – LutterworthWe booked a table for 8:30 and was told that our table wasn’t ready and asked to wait outside. We got a drink from the bar (there were 2 of us), and my drink was missed so had to wait again for it. The whole pub was packed and the staff didn’t seem to have it under control. The tables were very close together also. Waited outside until 9pm and then came back inside to see if our table was ready which it was. Ordered meals which when they came were very nice, although there were a couple of flies which kept landing on our food between mouthfuls and we were missing a starter so had to wait again for that. We then ordered one dessert and by this time the pub was empty, seemed to be taking forever so my partner asked where it was and the kitchen staff had forgotten, by this time it was 10:30pm! Then while waiting we heard a loud crash in the kitchen followed by “f**k”, extremely unprofessional. We didn’t leave until 10:45pm which is a long time when the table was booked for 8:30. Won’t be rushing back!
The Man At Arms – LutterworthLovely meal
The Cedars – LeicesterWe arrived to our booking and was greeted with a warm welcome seated and given our menu we felt safe! Sadly I felt the tables were to close together and would like to see them spread out more or even take away the middle row . Food was fabulous service was fabulous Thank you!
The Man At Arms – LutterworthFood was okay, place needs a good clean and furniture needs repaired .
The Old Red Lion – Market HarboroughThis was a very pleasant experience . we were given a nice table and the service was very good. the food was excellent i had the steak signature dish which was delicious and cooked rare just as i ordered prices very reasonable we will return
Cheikhos Restaurant – LutterworthI have eaten many times at this venue and lately, it’s hit and miss at best. This time unfortunately a miss. Even after booking a table we arrived to be told there were still people eating at our table and had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Then One of the starters that arrived was not what was ordered. My partner and his daughter mostly enjoyed their main meals but the peas served were hard and very undercooked. My salmon was dry and overcooked whilst the beans were still raw and the new potatoes were seemingly in the microwave too long and rubbery. We didn’t complain as when we mentioned that we had the wrong starter nothing was done to rectify it. Such a shame as last time I was there we had 2 perfectly cooked steaks. Come on Man at Arms you used to be so good and had a great reputation. These days it seems to be more miss than hit. I will still keep coming back as when you get it right your food is exceptional and great value for money.
The Man At Arms – LutterworthExcellent as ever.
The Old Red Lion – Market HarboroughStaff were really helpful and service was good, however as a gluten intolerant person my menu choices were minimal. Quite behind the times as the vast majority of places now have specific gluten free menus or have gf on the normal menu. Its very time consuming for busy staff and customers to sift through an allergy folder of every dish and ingredient! King Taverns need to sort it out, its not difficult.
The Man At Arms – LutterworthHi We come to the man at arms about five time’s last year was very good, atmosphere was always good an staff very pleasant . Are visit on Saturday the food was very disappointing I had a fillet steak didn’t taste much like fillet it was over cooked , I asked for medium to well it was very dry an overcooked the sauce was missing , The order hadn’t been placed although it was requested , chip were cold an soggy , Disappointed not the normal service, staff were pleasant , My partner had liver an onions he said his was ok, not the normal standard , sorry you did ask.
The Man At Arms – LutterworthI've Been coming to Cheikhos for 10-15 years and it's one of my favourite restaurants, Great Food, Nice Cosy place with a very pleasant atmosphere. Also Props to The Owner and staff who always do a great job and we always walk away feeling very happy about our experience. Many Thanks.

Cheikhos Restaurant – LutterworthFantastic service very friendly staff . Garden terrace very posh ! Feels like you are on holiday . Food wonderful nicely presented. 10/10 highly recommend.
The Lancaster Arms – LeicesterSo sorry to say very disappointed. We booked a table for 6.30pm got our food at 7.50pm. Menu very poor we didnt feel offering BLT and rolls were really an evening offering. We appreciate the situation and it is difficult to manage but just felt the whole experience was OTT including the owner pulling up a stool and explaining the Covid situation. We came for a night out to relax not be reminded of what's thrown at you where ever you turn just felt this wasnt appropriate. The food was very average and offering a meal deal of a burger soft drink and ice cream at £10 instead of £20 ( goverment eat out scheme) was very excessive I would not of paid £20 for that although we did opt out and just had the main but to be truthful we wouldn't return. So sorry to be negative but I do feel feedback is important to improve. Hope things pick up for you soon.
The Lancaster Arms – LeicesterWe decided to go for a meal here due to the eat out scheme, upon booking was told that there was a reduced menu which is fine. When we arrived the place looked lovely and staff very helpful due to the changes at the moment. When we recieved our menu choices I have to say we were very shocked of how limited the menu was. There was a choice of 3 items which I think is very poor even taking into the problems with what’s going on at the moment. If we didn’t have children with us I think we would of left. We also feel that we did not receive value for money either at the cost of £40 plus on a eat out scheme where it’s 50% off is rather excessive so getting on for a total of £70 full price for some burgers and ice cream feels like there is a bit of cheating going on. That saying tho the food was decent and the staff were very good so we will try again at some point but it won’t be on the eat out scheme or until we are back to some sort of normality.
The Lancaster Arms – LeicesterCheikho's is a nice, small restaurant with a special atmosphere. Food is absolutely amazing for a good value of money. With good aces to the parking. Definitely worth going with family and friends.
Cheikhos Restaurant – LutterworthI went with my daughter and two granddaughters for lunch. Of all the places I have eaten out in recently I have to say I felt the safest here . So much thought and effort has gone into keeping staff and customers safe. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly and attentive. We will be back !
