Tokyou – Liverpool City CentreVisited the Mayur as part of a party of nine last night and had a mixed experience. As almost everyone has stated, the food is excellent. The default dishes aren't very hot, but are very tasty and are made up with some great cuts of meat. Any dish on the menu can be 'fired-up' upon request for those of you who enjoy torturing rather than tantalising your tastebuds. The problem was the service. Every round of drinks had to be asked for twice and took a minimum of ten minutes to arrive. The host even joked about 'going outside to catch' a bottle of Cobra beer - not good! It also took the staff an hour to take our order. In contrast to the waiters - who were nowhere to be seen. the host wouldn't leave us alone and insisted on giving us his opinion of each and every dish that we were eating. I found this irritating - I'd come to enjoy the company of my friends, not to hear that the seabass goes really well with a big mug of tea. So all-in-all a frustrating visit. Will I go back simply because the food was so good?...good question. If the menu was of a similar price to other Indian restaurants in the city then definitely, but the higher prices and poor service makes me err on the side of staying away.
Mayur – Liverpool City CentreVisited on Saturday for my birthday. The view is spectacular and with food & service to match it really is a special occasion venue.

Panoramic 34 – Liverpool City CentreAbsolutely fantastic restaurant the food is amazing we have been eating in mei mei for quite some time now as my brother was the person who introduced us to this place and he eats there every weekend for the dim sum menus, especially if you ask for their own in chinese. The chinese tea is the best ever, the crispy belly pork is a must either hot or cold. The staff are great and they will explain all their foods to you.
Mei Mei – Liverpool City CentreHad a great meal here on Saturday night - the menu was varied, the food was delicious, the staff were attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Would definitely eat here again.
The Side Door – Liverpool City CentreOur 3rd visit to this restaurant. It is not the biggest, but certainly the best.Service food and wine excellent !!!
Bacchus Taverna – Liverpool City CentreJust had an amazing night at 60 Hope Street. A lovely restaurant that's not a bit pretentious. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, food and drink was utterly divine. We have large appetites and the quantity was plenty and more importantly the quality and freshness of the food was superb. Will definitely go back.
60 Hope Street – Liverpool City CentreI travelled up to the restaurant from London for my parents 50th wedding anniversary celebrations. I thought that everything about the restaurant was fantastic. The food, service , decoration and views were amazing. I have recommended it to my friends and will hopefully be visiting again, if I can get a table! It i had to award a score it would be a definite 10/10.

Panoramic 34 – Liverpool City Centreabsolutely brilliant found it on the Internet and we will definitely be going back soon food great and different nice break in between starter and main lovely wine and service 10/10
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreOVERATED. NO PRIVACY FOR COUPLES, TOO OPEN AND CRAMMED ESPECIALLY IN THE CENTRAL SEATING ARREARS. FULL OF WANNABE GANGSTERS, DEALERS AND THEIR DITSY DUMB GIRLFRIENDS. MANAGEMENT ARE UNATTENTIVE AND MISERABLE. PRICE AND FOOD OVERATED.
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreJuly 08 - Yet again another superb evening at Pushka. Food excellent, staff extremely pleasant and accommodating and atmosphere perfect. We have eaten at Pushka a couple of times a year since it opened and have never been disappointed. We book for very special occasions and when we have visitors to the city. Keep it up.
Puschka – Liverpool City CentreMy husband and are regular visitors to the Munro, we love the food. The new menu is imaginative. I had the duck and ribs in BBQ sauce really yummy. Alan is a veggie and he was spoilt for choice ( this is not so in most places). Just one problem we would love to take friends there but can not do so as they are both in electric wheelchairs, they could get in but not use the toilet. A disappointment as the refurbishment has just been done.
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreI recommend not to book a large party with Alma De Cuba. They will take the booking but I am afraid can't deliver. We were told that the kitchen was to small with our party, and the next party to us were told the same - why take the booking. The meal was utterly dreadful , however we only paid 50% but that was through a lot of negotiating. All in all 30 people will not be returning to eat!
Alma De Cuba – Liverpool City CentreI recently ate here with 5 other people. 5 of us chose to eat from the offer of 3 courses for £17.95 including a bottle of wine per couple. The staff were great however the food was very disappointing for supposedly one of the best restaurants in Liverpool. Both starters and mains looked great but were very bland. The desserts tasted extremely sour and the flavours didn't compliment each other at all. One of the group ordered the fish and chips which you would think would be easy enough to cook but even that was cooked wrong!
60 Hope Street – Liverpool City CentreMyself and 7 work colleagues have just returned from a wonderful lunch at Delifonseca. Remember to book , or you could be disappointed - it was a Tuesday and people were queueing for tables Candice and her staff were very helpful and provided excellent service. The food was all amazing - but a special mention must go to The Mutton and Spinach Curry and Pecan Pie. A fabulous time was had by all. This is a hidden gem- we will definitely be back to sample more!!!
Delifonseca – Liverpool City CentreI went to Etsu on Saturday with my girlfriend and what a fantastic find this little Japanese restaurant is! The service and staff ,particularly the waitress that served us, were consummate professionals and had a genuine passion for their job and the cuisine that they served. My girlfriend had not tried sushi before and is now a convert, due to the high standards of taste that were delivered. I had the seasonal recommendation of white tuna in a ponzu sauce, which was by far the best fish dish I've ever tasted. We'll be returning to Etsu and recommending this gem to our family and friends.
