Puschka – Liverpool City CentreIf you are looking for a good standard of food at lunchtime give the set lunch menu at Ego a try. You can get 3 courses for £9.50 and I don't know anywhere else in Liverpool where you can get 3 courses at such a good standard for such a good price. The restaurant is very clean and the kitchen can be viewed from the dining area. The service we received was excellent. We will return!
Ego Mediterranean Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreKimos is the number one student eatery! the menu is great and provides a lot more than any of the on campus food joints that Liverpool Uni has to offer! after three years at kimos, the food has been consistently good! the club sandwiches are without a doubt the best in town!
Kimos – Liverpool City CentreWhat can i say, Kimos is a wonderful place where i love to eat, their food is delicious, I would like to recommend Kimos to everyone, whether its for your breakfast, lunch, or evening meal Kimos is the place to be. I love this restaurant so much i hope to work here in the future.
Kimos – Liverpool City CentreDespite not having a glamorous location, the Tai Pan more than makes up for this with superb food at reasonable prices. Sunday's DimSum menu is always packed out and most evenings the restaurant is pretty busy. It's always my choice for a very decent Chinese meal and i've tried most places. I always come back to the Tai Pan. Can't wait for the July smoking ban!
Tai Pan Restaurant – Liverpool City Centrewent here for the 2nd time ever and again the whole experience was consistently good same as last time, both times i had the pollo al forno which is a lovely creamy pasta chicken bake and it is fantastic, although i have only had the same dish twice both times it was amazing and also had the garlic bread proper Italian garlic bread of course which was equally fantastic, then had the ice cream, the food is good authentic Italian food the overall experience is nothing special but if you want that then you gotta pay mega bucks this place is simply fantastic authentic Italian food with good prices and good service quick and efficient I recommend you try this place at LEAST once.
Casa Italia – Liverpool City Centrewhat can I say other than 'fantastic' the food here is delicious (the best creme brulee I have ever had the pleasure to taste) and the staff are very friendly and efficient! The price is outstanding and my friends and I will be back without doubt at every opportunity! A sunday lunch offer is also available which I have to say was also great value with roast lamb and all the trimmings. mmmmmm!
Bistro Jacques – Liverpool City CentreEvery body would like to spend on their outing. But if you spend at Sapporo Teppanyaki, then its mean you got the taste for the rest of week.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City Centrethis is by far the BEST restaurant in Liverpool by a long way. The chefs are fantastic. The food is very special especially the chocolate spring rolls for dessert. the manger and all the staff were very attentive and friendly. FANTASTIC
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreI?e been here a few times and everytime i come here i get a warm welcome and excellent service (esp. when I? a bit drunk). food is always yummy! defo coming again x
China City – Liverpool City CentreMy husband and myself went shopping in The city centre one Sunday afternoon & on our way back the train station we passed this public house & the old music was coming out of the porch. We decided to go in to have a bite to eat after looking at the delicious menu in the window. The staff where extremely helpful finding us somewhere to sit and clearing the table. The food was absolutely delicious, I opted for the Sunday roast which was just as good as a homemade! and to put the icing on the cake you got a free sweet. My husband has an homemade ale & hearty pie with homemade chips. There was lucky there wasn? a pattern on the plate. The chips were fantastic. When are plates were cleared away I asked the girl how they where made, She explained to me that a member of staff comes in at 6am to peel & cut the chips for the day. Now that? commitment to homemade food!!. after we had finished we decided to have a coffee, this was about 5pm. The next thing we knew there was an act on. Its seemed that it was a karaoke but the singers that got up where more like professionals! The ambience was amazing, everyone up dancing and singing along. The next thing we knew it was 9pm & we had to rush for the train. It was possibly the best day we?e had in Liverpool, I cant wait to go again!
Tess Riley’s – Liverpool City CentreFantastic restaurant, lovely atmosphere. lovely food. Thank you. Pete.
Savina – Liverpool City CentreThe Egg is a great place if you're looking for wholesome, nutritious food in laid back, basic surroundings. It has a very bohemian feel which adds to its charm. Prices are average/modest and generally good value for money. I've had lunch there a few times and the home made soups are well made, nutritious and fairly priced. I'd recommend The Egg and I'm a fairly hard to please individual when it comes to cafes.
The Egg Vegetarian Restaurant and Cafe – Liverpool City CentreAwesome food with a better than usual menu. Dim Sum was great with very impressive portions and with a good variety to suit all. We had a variety of mains with a hot plate and small wok that cooked at the table. Everything tasted and seemed freshly cooked and service was very good. We had come down from Manchester to eat there and I have to say its better than anything I have been to in Manchester. Amazing building with a great view just adds to the experience...Well recommended!!!
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreTHIS RESTAURANT IS A GEM IN AN OTHERWISE LACKLUSTRE LIVERPOOL RESTAURANT SCENE. I have dined here on 3 ocassions now. Menu is varied and exciting with a good price range. Service has always been excellent. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
Il Forno – Liverpool City CentreLovely place to eat if you like Italian food you will love it here, traditional Italian food, you don't realise you have not tasted REAL Italian food until you have been here you can taste the difference in every bite, price was quite good i have been cheaper places but the extra taste is worth it, the staff where lovely except one guy was a little rude and was not very welcoming.
Casa Italia – Liverpool City CentreI love Bistro Jacques. Every time we visit we are treated to great service and fantastic food. The menu changes every month so you never get bored with the same things. The food is fabulous and so inexpensive! It really is a hidden gem of a place and must be visited by anyone that loves great food and pleasant surroundings. The wine is great to. A great place to go for the pre-theatre menu mid-week. Well done Bistro Jacques.
Bistro Jacques – Liverpool City CentreThis place has become pretty much my favourite place to go for lunch following morning lectures this year, and I'm pretty miffed I didn't discover it earlier. Service is good, the food is great (and it would seem not to be packed with preservatives, either) and they do free green tea as well. Average price for a course is around 4 quid 50, and that'll keep you full for a good few hours, if not more. Definitely worth a visit.
