Il Forno – Liverpool City CentreBreakfast for under £4.00 with tea or coffee. Open until 11pm at night. Very fast service for fully home cooked food. Arab style food not normally available in Lpool, suitable for vegi's. Restaurant very popular with students and suitable a quickcheap bight before the cinema. NOTE: Kimos moved to new premises nextdoor (on Mount Pleasant) in Dec 2006.
Kimos – Liverpool City CentreI visited Piccolino's last night(15/12/06). The quality of food was faultless, i had the carpaccio to start and the mushroom rissotto to follow. Very authentic and fresh flavours coming out of the kitchen, i genuinely recommend the swordfish(looks fantastic). Enjoy
Piccolino – Liverpool City CentreI have eaten at Bistro Pierre before but never here and it was not disappointing, the food was lovely and the price is just shocking for what you get!! I went with my family who had come to visit and my boyfriend and it was a lovely meal helped along with nice wine and a comfortable atmosphere. Great food, great price.
Bistro Jacques – Liverpool City Centrethis is one of the best places i have ever eaten in highly recommended
Il Forno – Liverpool City CentreVisited Sapporo for the first time this weekend with family. I cant fault the staff, despite it being a very busy December night, Our large group was well served. We chose the Emperor banquette which delighted the taste buds. Each dish was distinct in flavour presentation. The entertainment is a good laugh and added to the festivities. The price including wine was very reasonable. The only down side was the toilets, they could not cope with the number of diners and got very messy towards the end of the evening. Everyone had a great time, it was a really different experience. One we will definitely repeat.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreExcellent! We had Sunday lunch at The Monro recently. We had 3 courses each. I started with the grilled goats cheese, which was very tasty, though lacking in a sauce/ dressing to counter balance the creamy cheese. My husbands smoked trout on the other hand was superb with the right balance of flavours. Our traditional Sunday lunch main course didn't disappoint. Plenty of lamb and beef with fresh veg. Lots of crispy potatoes to mop up the real gravy and one of the tastiest Yorkshire puddings we've had. We finished with chocolate cake and lemon pie, both hit the spot. All was washed down with a fab bottle of house red. The price was fair and service pleasant and attentive. I would highly recommend the Monro. Good honest food at the right price in cosy surrounding.
The Monro – Liverpool City Centrespot on.
Master Chef Tandoori Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreThe food was excellent and so was the service. A fave place to eat. The service is good and I've never been anything but totally satisfied on many visits. The staff are great and if you ask for a meal that's not on the menu they'll try their best to accommodate. Excellent in every respect
Shangrila Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreI've eaten in Chinese restaurants in practically all of the major UK cities, and I always seem to tell people that this restaurant on the Mersey is my favourite!! I have eaten here 8 times, with friends, family, on business, significant other, and each occasion has been just that - an occasion. Have seen a few questionable people in there of late, but nothing to have dimmed my opinion of this restaurant. I'm from South Wales, and am travelling to Liverpool again next week - suffice as to say I'll be heading back here again. Highly recommended........
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreI visit Liverpool regularly with my teenage daughter, we always lunch at Bistro Pierre and have never been disappointed. It is the highlight of our visit and the service, ambience and food are always exceptional. I have recommended to friends and hope that the restaurant flourishes and continues at this venue for years to come.
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreI loved it there I go everyday after work. I also spend most of my weekend there, and downstairs swinging it on the karaoke. It? pure fab wahooooo baby, go shangrila go!!!!!!!!!!! xxxxxxxxxxx
Shangrila Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreMy partner, my parents and I visited MEI MEI this week. The food was amazing! We waited quite a long time for the food to be brought out to be honest but it was worth the wait! The staff were very helpful... although at times maybe a little too efficient. Sometimes it felt as if they were waiting to pounce as soon as you put down your fork! The variety of food is good and has a great choice for vegetarians. All in all we were pleased with the restaurant. We will go again and will recommend friends and family.
Mei Mei – Liverpool City CentreWe were visiting Liverpool recently staying at the Liner Hotel, who recommended the Maharajah; we are a group of Maritime singers from Bristol `The Harry Browns` this restaurant is superb. We were excellently looked after, the menu and food was clearly explained to us in a professional manner with knowledge, quality of food was outstanding, we can say this with qualification as we have eaten curries in many parts of the world, but this restaurant? food is the best. Thank you for your hospitality, outstanding food and service, The Harry Browns Of Bristol.
Maharaja South Indian Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreI went on Wednesday night fantastic I had for starters blackpudding with lettuce unusual but delicious then the lamb on a bed of mash potatoes in a lovely sauce and a bottle of white wine my partner went for salmon wrapped in asparagus and rib-eye steak in a stilton sauce with new and boiled potatoes plenty of vegetables; broccoli, carrots, cauliflower and red cabbage which we shared delicious he opted for a bottle of red wine we had a lovely night. We couldn? believe how busy it was but then we knew why a two course meal for 2, 2 bottles of wine £30 EXCELLENT and that night Liverpool beat PSV 2-0 so the nightlife was a good atmosphere and very busy like a Saturday night we enjoyed and told friends and we will be going back.
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreThe food was simply superb. I highly recommend the venison which was out of this world. The service was also excellent.
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreWent for New Years Eve just gone and it was fabulous. Pre-booked a table and had our own waiter service - didn't even have to get up out of your seat and you can imagine how big the queues at the bar were! Rose Petals fell down at 12, it was a fabulous atmosphere and would definitely recommend it.
Alma De Cuba – Liverpool City CentreThis place is so good my boyfriend and I have been 3 times in the last month! Portions are very big, but get a starter anyway just for the taste - you can always take your leftovers home in a Tupperware box. (you can ask without embarrassment) Service was great also and with a big smile too. No pretence or pomp just a very nice place to be. 10 out 10.
