My wife and I had our valentine's meal here. The food was exceptional from the starter to the desert and the service was the same. Eaten out many times in city centre this place is a diamond. Try it.

The Monro – Liverpool City CentreA simple, but well executed menu, generous portions offering value for money. The wooden benches and glass tumblers give it a school canteen feel, but for a weekday lunch it more that suffices.
The Quarter – Liverpool City CentreOnce again Cafe Pierre excels itself on its simplicity and charm. This place serves up honest fayre and is superbly cooked and wholesome. We went for Sunday lunch and we've become regulars as we have found no other restaurant offers the quality and taste of fresh ingredients. Having not gone there just for the amazingly low prices all I can say is don't let the low price fool you into thinking you're getting a low quality product - quite the reverse is true! A good light Beaujolais only enhances the dining experience. Keep up the good work!
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreNever knew this place existed. Booths are great idea, didn't have the nerve to press waiter service button though! Food was fantastic, and plenty of it. Service was good, waiters didn't smile much, but didn't go there to see them. Will definitely be coming here again.
Uni Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreMy favourite restaurant. Had a quite a few meals in the fine dining area, bistro and even hired the restaurant for a family function. Never had cause to complain. The staff are excellent along with the food and wines available. You get what you pay for.
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreKimos has very delicious food, that I did not find anywhere else in Liverpool. The price of food is very very reasonable that even students can afford to eat everyday there. Their spicy sauce that is served with Chicken Kebab is delicious! It's the best place to eat if you don't have a lot of money.... also if you have money!
Kimos – Liverpool City CentreService was great despite there being a large group of us and the restaurant being packed. Nothing too much trouble for the waiter. Paella was lovely. Atmosphere fab. Will definitely be going back!
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreMaster Chef is by far and a way the best restaurant in liverpool. Its great service and exceptional food I cannot recommend enough. The chicken chilli is my personal favourite. Quality
Master Chef Tandoori Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreI have been to the Cafe several times and never been disappointed with the food served, "HUGE PORTIONS" given, (I Have Shared one meal between two a couple of times) the quality of the food is spot on and the building is beautiful!! buy two glasses of wine get the bottle free what more could you ask for?
Blackburne House – Liverpool City CentreI have visited the quarter twice now and would definitely recommend it, great food and really well priced. Ambience is great n a fab place to go in a group, very tasty pasta and they don? skimp on the portions - I recommend the lasagne! Overall a great little restaurant only spoilt by the fact they don? have wine glasses - wine out of a tumbler doesn't quite have the same effect!
The Quarter – Liverpool City CentreI had a lovely past dish but let's be honest, pasta is very cheap to produce so I consider it all to be over priced. The only difference here is the unusual choice of sauces and they do taste good.
Gusto – Liverpool City CentreI ate in the brassiere on Friday 20th for the first time and was a little disappointed with the food. Having chosen the mushroom on toast starter I was served mushroom on bread, and the green curry was a little bland. Having said that though, my girlfriends meal was superb so perhaps just a poor choice on my part... the food not the girl!
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreThe food was great and served very promptly. And those booths are something special. Only let down was staff friendliness. It wouldn't be too hard for them to smile a little; they always seemed distracted and uninterested.
Uni Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreI chose to take my girlfriend to La Vina before whisking her away to the Palace Empire to see a show. The setting is as authentic as we have in England, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was very good and far surpassed the La Tasca chain which where highlighted as distinctly average in comparison and more expensive to boot. I would highly recommend this restaurant, the food is excellent as are the waiting staff and all for around £50 for two people.
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreWe had an excellent family meal, just after Christmas. We were a party of 12 but nothing was too much trouble. The staff were very helpful. It was the best part of our Christmas. Well done. We will be back!
Ego Mediterranean Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreWe visit at least once a month and are always made very welcome. We recommend the vegetarian banquet but with a fish curry. Delicious.
Maharaja South Indian Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreI love it here I eat here whenever I fancy Italian! Its fab the choice on the menu is amazing and I love the fact they do all the pasta dishes in starter portions incase the normal portions are too much!
Villa Romana – Liverpool City CentreNot eaten here yet, we have only been in for drinks but this place is superb. Service is friendly but not obtrusive. The sofas are so so so comfortable, you could fall asleep in them - and from all reports the food is great too.
