La Vina – Liverpool City CentreMe and my boyfriend go this restaurant every couple of weeks, the food is lovely and they let u adapt the dishes and add things, staff very friendly and the atmosphere is great.
Casa Italia – Liverpool City CentreFriday night, didn? book, squeezed us in - couldn? have been more helpful on a horrible wet cold 'may' evening! They've got it 'just right'
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreI went to this restaurant on a bank holiday with my partner we just went in by chance as we walked past so glad we did. The food was delicious we both had the bruchetta to start which were simple but very tasty and prawn, chilli and garlic linguine for our mains again simple but tasty. The desserts where fantastic I had the chocolate nemesis with caramel ice-cream which was just so gorgeous it made my toes curl my partner had home made chocolate ice-cream both were served with biscotti. So glad that Liverpool has another really good Italian restaurant to eat at
Piccolino – Liverpool City CentreI think it is difficult to find such a good south Indian restaurant even in Delhi. REALLY AN AUTHENTIC SOUTH INDIAN CUISINE Dr Ajay Sharma
Maharaja South Indian Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreWe went last night and had a good evening out. Being Spanish, I can say that the food is nice and quite authentic... although some dishes are a bit odd, like the merluza al horno (baked hake) which looked and tasted more like a fish pie than a piece of baked fish. Tapas portions are small to my liking, and you have to order the bread apart, which should not happen in a Spanish restaurant... The meat is good though, reminiscent of Castillan food. Will definitely go back.
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreVery good food, shame it is on the expensive side
Puschka – Liverpool City CentreThe three of us had a very good meal last night at La Vina. The food was traditional Spanish just like we had in Madrid a few months ago. The service was excellent. Our waiter was Mexican, sorry I didn? get his name but he was very good. Also the cost was reasonable. The restaurant was very busy but this just added to the atmosphere. We will be back again soon.
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreExcellent pre theatre meal from the restricted menu in the bistro. Food excellent and ambience and service welcoming. If only the play had been as good. Please consider hope st pre theatre meal. You wont be disappointed. Wine list comprehensive.
60 Hope Street – Liverpool City CentreThis is something a bit different. South Indian food from the province of Kerala - both Sri Lankan and Indian friends have vouched for its authenticity. Its very tasty, well cooked, and a bit different - and its a great place to take people with wheat allergies as the breads are made with gram and rice flour. Try the 'hoppers' - rice flour pancakes - light as a feather, with one of the curries, and the spicy tuna cutlets for starters. Highly recommended.
Maharaja South Indian Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreWent to this restaurant after discovering it on sugarvine.com. The food was delicious and extremely filling. Would definitely recommend for a romantic date!
Uni Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreOur favourite restaurant! Best thing to do is...we order 4 Tapas between us and munch our way through them, then order another 4 and so on and so on...Great way to chill.
La Tasca – Liverpool City Centreabsolutely fantastic! a wonderful atmosphere, gorgeous food with such full flavours! chefs, staff and ambience exquisite
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreGreat for parties! They cater for everyone? needs and the service was excellent! Overall it has a great authentic, Indian atmosphere!
A Passage To India – Liverpool City CentreThe food was lovely, however there wasn't much of a choice.
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreI was very impressed with the enormous selection of dishes on the menu; there was certainly something for everyone. We were well looked after from start to finish. We'll definitely be going again...and again!
60 Hope Street – Liverpool City CentreVery fine South Indian cuisine, of which the whole menu consists. The banquets are an especially good introduction to the style of food, cooked with water rather than ghee, and spicy more than fierce. An excellent addition to the local Indian scene.
Maharaja South Indian Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreVery good, after being very disappointed by the majority of Indian cuisine in Merseyside I came across Sugarvine and have since checked out millon and Uni, both are excellent restaurants. Uni is very cosy for couples and serve really excellent food, a wide range and modestly priced. I have only been once but on that occasion the service was good, not excellent. It was prompt enough but perhaps lacking in friendliness. Go to this restaurant if you like good Indian food, you will not be disappointed.
