The Monro – Liverpool City CentreThe Chung Ku looks very impressive from the outside, and was beautiful inside. The food was nice but wasn't worth the high prices. Would rather go to Chinatown. The waiters were rushed us which made us feel uncomfortable.
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreI love this restaurant. I am a big fan of Italian food and have yet to find an Italian Restaurant this good! The staff are very friendly and are only too happy to help with anything. My fiance and I are regular customers and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes their Italian food.
Casa Italia – Liverpool City CentreMichael and the team still doing a great job. We like the fact you can get Greek food here without all the hullabaloo of plate smashing etc!
Zorbas – Liverpool City CentreWe often go here especially in the summer it just seems the right thing to do. I think I have probably tried most things on the menu now and have no reason fault it, infact we keep coming back so they must be doing something right. The San Miguel in the jugs hit the spot and they also have a good choice of Rioja. But the best thing on the whole menu has to be the Paella, don? forget to scrape the browned rice of the bottom of the pan, it is so sweet.
La Tasca – Liverpool City CentreI enjoyed a meal here with my husband on a night out in Liverpool. We went on a Saturday night and didn? have to make a reservation. We were served promptly and the food was delicious. The chicken was tender and the portions were generous. The staff were very helpful, as we had never been to Liverpool before and they told us all of the best places to go on a night out. All round good experience
Bella Italia – Liverpool City CentreConsistently excellent food (although has recently gone up in price a little). Fantastic staff and welcoming atmosphere - well worth it for a special night out.
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreI love it!!!! Italian food rocks!! Especially from the Casa Italia
Casa Italia – Liverpool City CentreWithout doubt the best dining experience in Liverpool. Fantastic menu, stunning presentation and quality service. Fish was perfection and white chocolate fondant dessert amazing! Destined for great accolade and recognition without doubt.
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreSeem to want to rush us through our meal even though we had booked 4 weeks in advance. Roof leaked so watch out for this by the window. No distinction smoking and non smoking, they only request you do not smoke, we sat next to smokers so the ambience shall we say was drifting to the smokey side. Food was pretty good I think a little on the pricey side for the standard of food, but they still had some good dishes on offer.
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreThe only weakness is the service..you'll wait and wait for your table.
La Tasca – Liverpool City CentreMy friends and I go to the Casa Italia once a month for a girls night out. The food is great and the staff are brilliant. We have been going there for more years than I care to mention as have most of the staff from my office. It is certainly one of the best loved restaurants in Liverpool
Casa Italia – Liverpool City CentreI go for lunch every Friday and get egg, chips and bacon. The delicious soup is homemade and served with a generous chunk of good bread and butter. Excellent prices.
Cambridge, The – Liverpool City CentreAfter moving recently to the area I decided to explore the local eateries. Blackburne House had a modern feel with a good selection of dishes to offer. I would recommend anyone to give it a try.
Blackburne House – Liverpool City CentreIt is a beautiful restaurant - I went with my family for my 21st and it was very nice
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreIt's difficult to rate the "ambience" of this place, because if it was any other restaurant it could only be described as rubbish. But it isn't any other restaurant, it's the Ma Bo, and there's nowhere else like it. Sit towards the back, and look out of the window, past the elderly Chinese lady preparing the ducks, and you'd swear you were in a cafe in Shanghai, not least because a lot of the customers are ethnic Chinese (which speaks for itself). The food is unsurpassed in any Chinese restaurant I have visited - have a go at the roast duck, it's serious "melt in the mouth" stuff.
Ma Bo Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreLiverpool City Centre has been crying out for a first class restaurant such as Piccolino. I visited on a Friday lunch time and there was a real buzz in the dining room. The staff were very attentive especially to my 2 year old son but in no way intrusive. The food was fabulous. I chose Asparagus & pecorino to start, the asparagus was beautifully crisp. My Husband opted for the chicken livers - which were to die for. For our main course I chose the calves liver with onions and my husband the crispy duck - both devoured, very impressed. As for our son he had a wild mushroom risotto, we thought we may get an equal share of that - no such luck, Lewis ate the lot! Highly recommended.
Piccolino – Liverpool City CentreThis is a fantastic night out. Try it!
