Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreUsual good service Jason made us feel very welcome shame no sweet potato fries
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreFood platter very good, came quickly was very fresh and tasty. Excellent value. Only issue was that we order a cocktail to start. Very weak watery, bitter and didn’t taste right. When we told the barman he said we must be alkies if we thought they were weak, and that there was nothing wrong with them! Not good service.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreGood atmosphere good music and great location just wish burger was cooked a bit longer as was pink on inside, I understand people may like their food like that but maybe ask how they would like it cooked before hand saves the trouble.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreExcellent food, staff and ambience. Thank yoy
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreWe enjoyed an early evening meal after a matinee show over at the Empire, so it was very quiet and I therefore can't give it much for atmosphere, but that's our fault, not theirs. My beef cheeks dish was divine. My husband very much enjoyed his classic burger, though he (as always) would have preferred it served on a plate rather than a board. Service was just right - not over the top, but attentive when required, and friendly. Will definitely return.
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreA really nice evening and lovely food and drink. Always a pleasure to visit Christakis
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreVisited last night for the second time. Scouse was beyond fab, pizzas were delicious and the staff were bloody brilliant. Very helpful, very funny and efficient.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreGreat pub asalway, busy, noisy full of life. Fab pizza and sides and friendly service.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreReally handy for the station and the theatre. Delicious pizzas and scouse, and great atmosphere in a proper old pub :)
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreGreat option for food and drinks before shows at the Empire. We booked on-line and our table had our name on it when we arrived. Drinks and food service very prompt. We had the hummus and flat bread as a quick starter, Scouse and a pizza. All really good. Good quality pizza. Good value overall. Our table was in a nice cosy spot. Can't fault it! Would definitely go back.
