Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreHad a lovely meal here last night! The halloumi starter and the chicken gyros are to die for!! And not to mention the gorgeous cocktails and the complimentary brownie for desert! Another thing to mention, you come away from the restaurant feeling nice and full aswell, not like other places where you leave feeling still peckish! Will absolutely be coming back and recommending others to do so!
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreTasty scouse at a good price, great atmosphere and friendly staff and patrons. If you’re in later you may bump into some of the performers from the Empire too. What’s not to like?
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreFood was lovely, but the service was really bad! my husband is celiac and got served gluten! Only after me questioning it did he take it away and didn’t apologise once.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreCame for the Scouse! We were not disappointed. It was delicious and fairly priced. Great little pub with historic interest. And the tables weren't sticky! Great!
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreFantastic food and the most wonderful friendly service. Such great value for money as well. We cannot wait to return
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreFood here is amazing. Fabulous choice and the staff are fantastic. Such amazing ambience. We love it here.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreFantastic meal with really lovely service - would highly recommend
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreMenue describes what I would hope to be gourmet burgers. We ordered cheesy garlic bread as an appetiser and our burgers. Mine was beef , bacon and brie. My husband ordered beef, chicken and pulled pork. Drinks took some to to come but came eventually. Then our burgers arrived. I said we had ordered bread as a starter. But it was OK just cancel it now as then there would be too much food now at once. When we looked at the burgers they were the wrong ones so they had to go back to.the kitchen to sort out the correct order. My husband had requested no cheese. Bearing in mind this was the wrong burger it had cheese on it but I was surprised to notice what I would think melting cheese to be a lovley mature cheddar bubbling from being melted under the grill it was a dairylea cheese slice just popped on top. I would he very disappointed to be served that in a gourmet burger restaurant that specialises in making what sound on the menu to be amazing burgers. So on the whole when our order did arrive it wasn't hot so I think it must have been on the warming area awaiting it collection. It was tasty and no cheese on my husbands,so that was right. The service was friendly ,apologetic but chaotic. Also no offer of any D and I for pretty much everything going wrong and for over £60 not worth the money.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreFood very tasty and cooked to perfection. Service was fast and very friendly. Would recommend
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreAbsolutely beautiful good fantastic staff and beautiful cocktails and drinks we will definitely ve coming back we love the dough bar
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreSuperb food. Great friendly service. Some citicisms/observations since they reopened as Opa Opa after Christakis. Menu doesn’t reflect the starter and main offer that Christakis did in Duke St and Aigburth still do. Not happy there is no draught beer on offer and the bottled beer is extremely expensive. Not happy that the large bottled beer advertised in menu was not available and only 330 ml expensive bottle was offered. Food and ambience great, staff attentive would definitely re visit.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreGreat food as always. Slight change to Christakis’s menu where they offered a starter and main as an offer. Now you order starters and main individually increasing the price slightly. Afelia was not on the menu one of my favourites but tahini was on the menu. Draught beer has been replaced with very expensive over priced bottled beer, large bottles were not available when we visited. All in all, Opa Opa is producing the same standard of food as Christakis with an increase to the price that’s acceptable given recent rises in interest rates and inflation, but the bottled beer prices could be either reduced or an offer of buy one get another half price introduced.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreGreat service, delicious food, perfect for a pre- show meal, can't wait to go again
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreDrinks and a bite to eat before the show last night. Fabulous service as always. The best scouse you’ll ever eat. Would highly recommend.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreI recently dined at OPA Opa Liverpool, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant's charming Mediterranean decor immediately made me feel welcome. The menu is packed with authentic Greek dishes, and everything I tried was delicious. The moussaka was rich and flavorful, and the grilled chicken suvlaki was cooked to perfection. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making excellent recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. The lively atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. OPA Opa is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Greek cuisine in Liverpool.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreAbsolutely love going to this restaurant, it's one of my all time favourite places, so homely and everyone is so nice.
