Souvla Allerton – Mossley HillJust right, thank you.
Roberto’s Italian – SouthportThe food was lovely and tasty. The young girls front of house were friendly.I rang last minute to have an extra person to our booking and they accommodated a person on crutches very easily. My only complaint was it was very cold in the restaurant.
Goya Bistro – St. HelensGreat food and service, just a little confused as to why the wine glasses were removed from the table on arrival and the napkins just thrown onto the table. It looked so pretty on arrival but I was left questioning?
Roberto’s Italian – SouthportLovely Family Meal, Excellent Food and Service as always
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonDough bar was fantastic. The staff were lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for you, and the food was really good as were the drinks. We couldn't get over the price either, the cheapest food and drinks we've had for years. I'd highly recommend a visit to Dough Bar and will be back!
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreA really wonderful restaurant as we were early enough for the early bird menu it was absolutely amazing value for both the quality and quantity of food received. Defo would recommend
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreWe had a great meal in this small high street restaurant. The atmosphere is very friendly and because there are only a few tables, the owner interacts with everyone. Our meal was delicious - and we could increase the heat by adding extra chillis. Perfect! This is just the sort of local eateries we would like in our high street.
Goya Bistro – St. HelensWe lost my brother this year so wanted to go somewhere different than where we usually go and I can honestly say it was lovely, the staff were brilliant and the food excellent would highly recommend this restaurant, it won’t allow me to move the slide bars for marks out of 5 but I would definitely score them high
Sing Faye Chinese Restaurant – St.HelensMy wife and I visited Souvla on Friday the 13th, our previous visit (Grilla) was August 2021 pre a Frank Skinner gig at the Empire. We said we'll have to go back there, why did we leave it so long? Our experience on both occasions was absolutely fantastic. Friendly smiling attentive staff, a warm atmosphere, and delicious food. I had the mix meats, my wife the lamb chops, I had just the one lager whilst my wife only had water. Complimentary chocolate brownies and all for under £40. I don't think we'll leave it so long next time. Thoroughly recommend.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreWent with my work colleague on Monday. Had the early bird selection and i can honestly say you can not go wrong. Soup i chose (hot & sour) can say it was one of the best i have ever had starter and choice of mains was very good and plentiful. Will be visiting again. Service was perfect.
Sing Faye – WooltonYet another lovely evening at Ying Wah! I requested a nice cosy table for 4 and we were delighted to be seated in one of the alcoves opposite the bar, so our evening got off to the best possible start. The menu provides excellent choices and although dishes with oyster sauce are not listed, their chef was only too happy to prepare one for one of our group. I chose hot and sour soup with prawn crackers to start followed by king prawn scezhaun with egg fried rice and noodles and bean sprouts. Both starter and main were absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were really generous. All of our party thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and will be making a return visit very soon.
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonFirst time visiting and very impressed. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was fantastic. Really enjoyed our visit and looking forward to returning very soon.
Sing Faye – WooltonVisited with a group of friends for a pre Christmas meal, food and service was perfect.
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonGreat food and service, as always!
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthWe arrived early and are table was made ready. Service was prompt but we felt rushed. We were asked if we wanted everything together and we said yes assuming that meant all mains being delivered at the same time rather than individually, what it actually meant is the crispy duck was delivered with the mains which I have never experienced before. The food was very good but we ordered half a duck and received only 6 pancakes which was totally inadequate. Whilst we were eating we were asked if the 4th chair could be taken from our table which we agreed only for it to be returned within 2 minutes which was a bit bizarre. Once the plates were being taken away the waiter actually brushed my arm to take a single unused piece of cutlery away and he didn't even apologise. We were gone in under 45 minutes and so when I said we felt rushed I was not joking. Hopefully this was just a bad night at the office as it is our favourite Chinese in South Liverpool.
Ying Wah Restaurant – Woolton40 of us went to the Dough Bar for our Christmas Drinks and had a great night. The booking process was easy and efficient. On the night the staff were lovely. They couldn't have done more for us and and were very accommodating. Brilliant value for money and delicious food.
