Tik Taco – SouthportWe were in Liverpool for a concert at the Philharmonic Hall and the restaurant is about 50 m away. Smart but informal ambience. Very friendly and attentive staff. Wide choice of menu items - we had mixed souvlaki and lamb chops. Veggie options available. Really good. Huge portions. Complimentary brownie with whipped cream was a nice surprise. Finally, really good value for money. Would strongly recommend this place.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreLovely aesthetics, friendly quick and attentive staff. Most importantly amazing and tasty food! Best chicken gyros I've ever had! Can't wait to go back

Sing Faye – WooltonExcellent food, can tell it’s all freshly made. Mid week meal for a date night.
Master McGraths – SouthportIn my 40 years of going to bars and clubs, I have never come across an attitude like the lank haired barmaid who was working on Saturday night (9th November 24). She was pig ignorant, short tempered, snappy, rude and arrogant. It was hard not to bite back, but I did politely asked her to chill out and calm down. She then glared and mumbled something under her breath about “not having to serve me”. Luckily for her, I didn’t hear it at the time, but my friend informed me of the remark after we’d left the premises. The girl oozes a lack of respect for customers (and her fellow bar staff) and should not be working in the service industry. We all have things going on in our lives, but we paint on a smile and treat people with courtesy. Another member of our party also had an issue with her over a glass of soda water. We actually spent quite a bit of money that night. Food, four bottles of wine, soft drinks, etc; but there’s no way we’d be back.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreStopped in for food and drink before seeing John Bishop at the Empire. It really is a great location for this. Able to prebook our table for 6. The food came out hot, fast and delicious! It’s a small menu, but I think that allows them to keep the quality great. The Scouse was a delicious and slightly pepped up version of what mum used to make. The pizzas were obviously hand made and just right. Drinks were reasonable. (Probably much more reasonable than the Empire!) If you want a lively pub atmosphere, with spot on food, this is the place! Staff were friendly and helpful too - even when the drink got spilled…

Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreThis was my 2nd visit and everything was as good as the first time. My friends loved it too. It is by far the Best Greek restaurant around, and I’ve been to them all. What a great find. Thank you Souvla. Five stars from us.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentrePopped in Ma Egertons for tea before going to the O2 Academy. What fantastic value, my husband and I shared a pizza and a feta salad, Cost us £15 and was more than enough. Pizza was lovely, great dough and really tasty, I know salads are not the most exciting but that was really good too. All of the staff were friendly and happy to help, highly recommend a stop here for eating and/or drinking when you are around the area. Always a good atmosphere.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreBooked beforehand as knew it was a popular place. Asked for a table for three and mentioned that another 2/3 might join later. Got a brilliant table with room for us all. The food was great - we all went for the Scouse Classic and then a couple had ice-cream with a sauce and the chocolate cake with cream. The food was great, filling and fantastic value for money. Other people at nearby tables had opted for the pizzas and they went down like wildfire! A nice atmosphere in the pub with great service.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreI took my six year old Granddaughter to an educational session especially for children and we both really enjoyed it. The cats are beautiful and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. A wonderful experience.
