Had a lovely evening: great food, generous portions and friendly service!
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreWe often call in for a meal prior to a theatre visit. Despite being exceedingly busy (we were advised a point of ordering food there would be a wait) the staff were as always chatty, friendly and helpful. The pub was noisy (not in a bad way!)and it was a great pre theatre atmosphere. Most of the tables around us were going to the same show. The food as ever was excellent. The scouse is the best in Liverpool and the pizzas are always freshly made with a great assortment of toppings on offer. 10/10
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreWent here with my wife & daughter & son in law who are vegetarians. The food was excellent for both the veggies & us. All 3 courses were enjoyed by all & the service was good throughout. All this in a great atmosphere made for a great evening out
Ayuthaya – CrosbyWe have been going to Goya for around 5 years, and in the last couple of years have included it in our family dining out choices too. I have never seen a childrens menu as advised below, however, I wouldn't want to as experiencing new dishes is what dining out should be all about. You own't be disappointed by the food at Goya - I have never had a bad dish, and we have tried most of the menu now! The food is all prepared fresh, but the service is still very quick, its a fabulous place to dine!
Goya Bistro – St. Helens2nd time visiting. Meal was delicious. Service was perfect. Took my daughter and her boyfriend who was from Cheltenham He loved how friendly everyone was. Staff were genuinely concerned that your food was right. Owners? Were hilarious Choice of food was great. Baked cheesecake was amazing. Can’t wait for another visit.
Harringtons Bar & Eatery – PrescotGreat food, lovely hospitality, looking forward to re-visiting
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonFood was ok, wasn't the best I've had from here, squid over cooked batter was under cooked. For 2 people, very expensive compared to all the other times we have been.
Sing Faye Chinese Restaurant – St.HelensFood and service brilliant. Couldn’t finish the meze asked for box to take home , all no problem. Busy place but observant staff always attentive with clearing the table, or watching drink being consumed.
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthHi Ann What a wonderful night we had last week The tribute boy band were amazing , couldnt fault the singing, got everyone dancing . Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreGreat pizza and fun atmosphere. Great place handy for Lime Street and good bar too.
Dough Bar – Liverpool City Centregreat food and atmosphere
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreI ordered salt pepper ribs and salt pepper prawns to start that was very bland there was no taste of salt n pepper at all. For mains duck that was very dry and chicken drunken noodles which was quite nice. Overall was disappointed and wouldn’t return.
Ayuthaya – CrosbyVisiting Liverpool-on a long weekend from Coventry & came across Clockworks purely by chance. Great attentive & friendly staff; great music & as for the food my wife & l both had the haddock & chips & we have never had fish & chips like it. It was simply the best, the chips were to die for. When we next visit Liverpool we shall certainly make this place our first port of call. Fantastic
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreVery disappointed actually, had Meze , it was brought out very quickly , very average, presentation disappointing, it was like fast food , not great , very loud dining experience for two . Not be back
