Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreA great eye catching venue in a perfect city centre location.
NYL Restaurant and Cocktail Bar – Liverpool City CentreLovely food and couldn't believe the portion for the value of price. The meat platter is something we will go back for and staff were friendly and provided a great service.
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthGreat atmosphere & surroundings full of memorabilia from across the road , ideal to get you in the mood for your visit & importantly food & service excellent
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreAbsolutely lovely food with great atmosphere. Service was good even though it was really busy.
Casa Roni – Mossley HillHaving eaten here many times thought we would try Sunday lunch as Mustard had great reviews for this. Booked weeks ago and really looked forward to our meal. However when we arrived at the restaurant we were told there was only chicken or the vegetarian roast or salmon. The starter was soup and no other option. They also had no sparkling water for our designated driver It was ok but it was not the best Sunday roast.
Mustard & Co – CrosbyWe had an excellent meal on Sunday afternoon. The food was piping hot and beautifully cooked. We highly recommend Dolce Vita for consistent quality of food and service.
Dolce Vita – SouthportThis is a long standing established city centre Cypriot /Greek restaurant It has always been exceptional value with outstanding hospitality We had a birthday celebration on 6th February a Sunday afternoon the atmosphere was relaxed happy and very Cypriot my family loved the afternoon the staff hard working and friendly the food was as good as you can get all at a very reasonable price The best Greek restaurant on Merseyside by far THANKYOU for a loverly evening
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreWent for family meal on Sunday very child friendly food was delicious the staff are very attentive best Chinese in Liverpool would highly recommend
Ying Wah Restaurant – Wooltonlovely food really good service lovely staff highly recommended
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthWe all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and can’t wait to come back. The attentive service, the ‘special’ fish pie and the friendly ambience all made it a very enjoyable experience. Will definitely recommend to other friends.
Dolce Vita – SouthportNot for me. Soup which barely wet the bottom of the plate, overpowering taste of oil drizzle and ghastly marmite and beef or truffle butters. Main course of chicken breast which was more like the size of a blackbird, a potato mash and about 3 teaspoons of Jus. It was tasty but tiny and highly overpriced. Rice pudding was unusual and very nice but adding a foam does not turn rice pudding into fine dining. Highly overpriced for what we were served. Plates of rough ovenware that set your teeth on edge and made such a loud scraping noise it was embarrassing. Decor is like a run down transport cafe, plain walls, broken fan above the door and a big gap under the door causing droughts. Staff were friendly and attentive and did accommodate a request for an alternative dessert . When there I saw 3 chefs and 3 waiting staff but only 7 diners so no wonder the cost is so high I have eaten much better food for much less.
Mustard & Co – CrosbyAfternoon tea at its very best . Relaxing atmosphere attentive friendly staff an absolutely lovely experience. This gem of a restaurant right on our doorstep. Can’t wait to visit again. Would highly recommend ...definitely 5*
Mustard & Co – CrosbyThe food was amazing , a burst of flavours. Very good wine too. The staff and service was excellent very attentive but notin your face. Will definitely be returning and recommending too.
Mustard & Co – CrosbyGreat food at a good price. Very caring and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere and good music.
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreAttended Goya on the 5th February as a party of 5. Staff were very polite and attentive and nothing was too much trouble, we sat at the window table. The food was really good quality and everyone enjoyed their meals of which there was plenty. We all had starters and mains plus a couple of salads for the table, the papaya salad was divine. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend Goya and look forward to visiting again.
Goya Bistro – St. HelensIt was our second visit there with some friends and the food was very good and staff very pleasant and always on hand to top up our drinks, would definitely recommend and look forward to eating there again soon.
Casa Roni – Mossley HillI would have to say for the price I am slightly dissapointed. As a starter, two of us chose a chicken parfait which was topped with a very very sweet jelly. This was then topped with a very sweet sauce, i felt i had eaten my dessert for a starter and felt my teeth ache like i had just drank a sugary soft drink. I could not finish the dish as it was so sweet and rich, it really needed a bread or cracker or something to counter the soft textures and rich/sweetness. I had the duck for main course, the piece of duck was cooked very well and tasted great. The dish as a whole was lacking, the sauce had a bit of an odd aftertaste, and the black garlic added a biterness which together rather ruined the flavour of the duck. A confit yolk with onion and apple didnt quite fit. My parter had the stone bass which again was cooked well, but as she is pescatarian she requested this, the fish was supposed to come with potatoes which they removed and added more vegetable, surely they have potatoes without any meat products? In the end she was left with fish and vegetables. The cheese board at the end was charged at 44 pounds for 4 people ( we asked for 3 people but where charged as 4) the fruit on the board was of no real quality and the cheese was okay but it just felt overpriced for the sake of it. Overall we were charged £220 and left slighy unsatisfied and underwhelmed. Also, if you're going to lock the front door of your restaurant because of the wind, you might want to pay more attention to the customers knocking on your door standing in the rain. No significant complaints on the day as things where cooked well, but would not be returning.
