Goya Bistro – St. Helens7 of us had the Greek meze and all of the food was delicious. We sampled a bit of everything then took a take away box home that we couldn’t manage!! Waiters were delightful, didn’t get the lads name but he was very smiley. Only mildly disappointed there was no dancers as advertised on the website. We had a lovely night!
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthFood was excellent and cooked to perfection as always. The service is attentive, warm and friendly without being intrusive. Fabulous place to eat with friends.

Dolce Vita – SouthportAte here on Wednesday with my son and husband and the whole experience was incredible. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was amazing. Would recommend to absolutely everyone.
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthEnjoyed a lovely fish platter here. Staff very welcoming .polite and helpful. We use to visit the smithdown restaurant quite often untul it moved to aigburth but food still as nice.
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthFantastic experience from the moment you walk through the door. Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff and great service from start to finish. The portions are so big it’s always hard to finish but the food is so good you don’t want to stop. The early evening deal is unbelievable value. It can get a bit loud but when a place is as good as this no wonder it’s so busy
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthGreat little Italian restaurant!
Mamma Mia Pizzeria – SouthportI used to eat hear regularly before I moved away in 2018, and it was great. 3 years later and it has gone downhill. Run down, tatty furnishings. The starters came cold, I couldn’t finish them and the meat on the mopping was tough. The Ayuthaya Kai “speciality” was a cold boiled egg on a bed of roughly chopped cabbage which was swimming in a thing tamarind sauce that had almost no flavour. I ordered beef massaman with Jasmine rice for my main course which was presented on a too small plate and looked like school dinners- I sent it back because the meat was gristly and after the awful selection of starters I was unwilling to eat food of a further poor standard. The table was sticky, the chairs were battered, the table settings made it look like cheap cafe rather than an the fine dining experience it claims to be. I left a similarly poor review on their Facebook page and was attacked by the owner and accused of being rude to his staff (I most certainly was not) and told not to come back (I wouldn’t have anyway). Really not worth the disappointment. You go out to have a nice meal, spend your hard earned cash on the local economy and you get awful food and abuse from the owner, who rather than admit to their failings make wild and spurious allegations in an attempt at deflection. The only good thing about it was the service, although they were all school age children seemingly left to it. What a disappointment all round. There are much better dining options in the area thankfully.
