Dough Bar – Liverpool City Centreamazing as always!
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreI always try to fit in a visit to Ayuthaya when I come to visit my family in Liverpool. As usual, was not disappointed, the food was delicious. The coconut soup on the starter menu is fabulous. Last time I visited I had the spicy Beef Salad but it unfortunately wasn't available this time due to more limited Covid menu. I had the spicy king prawn salad instead which was fresh and tasty, not quite as good as the beef but still lovely. Awesome Beef on the starter menu was just that - awesome. My sister had the Penang curry which was quite sweet, but very moreish. Staff were friendly and service was prompt. A great little place.
Ayuthaya – CrosbyAwesome breakfast Awesome customer service Awesome decor
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreIt was our first time going to this restaurant and we will certainly be going back. Lovely friendly staff and atmosphere, large portions so much so we couldn’t eat it all, we brought it home in a doggy bag. Gorgeous good quality food which is very reasonably priced. Excellent choice on menu. We had the early evening menu two courses for £9.99. The restaurant and toilets are spotless and they are adhering to the government advice of social distancing and test and trace. If you haven’t already been to this restaurant I would highly recommend that you try it.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreWe sat outside for drinks. Very pleasant and well organised re covid distancing etc. They did call us in the morning to advise you can't reserve an outside table which was good of them but luckily we managed to get one. Great service, really enjoyed
Dovedale Towers – Mossley HillGreat place. Really friendly welcome and some cracking beers and food. Special mention for a pint of Pilsner Urquell and Chicarones (like a deep fried pork scratching!- great with cold beer!) Music was fab too. Definitely one of best places this end of town. Thanks!

Goya Bistro – St. HelensExcellent service and amazing value for money. I came here with my partner and 3 children last night for the early evening menu. £9.99 for a starter and a main course. It was our first visit to this restaurant and out first outing since Lock down began. Starters were delicious and quite big. Tahini was gorgeous, Greek salad was so fresh and the chicken wings were lovely and tender. We ordered 2 cheese burger meals from the children's menu and when they arrived I thought they had given them adult meals instead. They were huge. The children were delighted with them. My older child, my partner and myself ordered the chicken kebab. That was also a large portion and very tasty. We saved some of the greek salad from the starter to have with the kebab although the meal came with rice and fries. My only regret is that I didn't save some of the tahini too but on my next visit I will order some extra sauces to have with it. We didn't finish our meals and the lovely staff were more than happy to put the rest into containers for us to take home. When we were leaving my 8 year old daughter asked if would come again because she would give it 1 billion out of 10. The food is excellent and the staff are really friendly. The owner of the restaurant came over to chat with us and ask if everything was ok with our meal while we waited for our taxi home. I can't wait until we come for our next visit
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreSo good I’ve been two nights on the run!! Excellent food and absolutely astonished at the price!! Excellent service. Booked online for the first visit which was effortless and phoned to see if they could squeeze us in the night after and we were there within the hour. Spotlessly clean and I can’t tell you just how beautiful the food was. Really impressed by this little restaurant am surprised it took me this long to find it!! Will definitely be a regular from now on.
