Service was good and the food was absolutely lovely, could not fault it. A bit pricey but worth it

Sing Faye Chinese Restaurant – St.HelensWent for my birthday treat on Sunday, decor is lovely and classy. Food was amazing and the staff and ambience were excellent . I would highly recommend
The Dean – St.HelensWe were excited about checking out this restaurant, but ended up disappointed. The gentleman host was very rude and told us we could not have a table even though we reserved it. The smoothie machine wasn’t working so the smoothies bowls which we came for weren’t there. The eggs were cold and my daughters pancakes came out after we had all finished. Disappointing experience.
Love Thy Neighbour – Liverpool City CentreA historic city pub with real character right by Lime Street. It’s always been a haven for the theatre crowd (audience and actors) and they do a great traditional Scouse.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreGreat place for a pizza or a party night out. They also have retro gaming if that’s your thing!
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreExcellent value for money lovely and clean chilled restaurant definitely recommend
Sing Faye Chinese Restaurant – St.HelensNice staff, beer smelt of eggs, food really poor.
Rioja Tapas Restaurant – St. HelensReally enjoyed visiting not eaten in this restaurant for over 15yrs it was still as good as all those years ago will definitely be revisiting but will ask for a break between courses when we revisit the only thing I didn’t like was the barbecued ribs the sauce was an orange colour ? Not for us sorry just being honest
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonNot worth the money one of the meats was wonderful I would have been happy to eat the steak as a meal but the rest of the meat was nothing special
Brunos Rodizio – St. HelensBooked a table through their website, and was told that the system told them a different time than what i had booked and had been confirmed to me by e-mail so there was no table immediately available. Service was pretty slow, and we waited 30 minutes for drinks to be served, although staff did apologise for this. A lack of baby changing facilities made our changing our sons bum difficult (although there was a nappy bin). But the food is always nice (we have been before, without the baby). And there is a good range of options (both food and drinks). Hopefully all the above are just teething issues.
Love Thy Neighbour – Liverpool City CentreThis is a lovely place. Really enjoyed it. Food and service excellent. Will definitely go again. Do think the menu choices need to increase. But every course we did have was exceptional.
The Dean – St.HelensI was a bit disappointed with the menu. 5 Items on the main course and two of them fish, which I don’t eat. So I really struggled. In the end opted for the Beef fillet which was the most expensive at £28. However, the food was amazing. Couldn’t fault it at all, best meal i’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. I would go back but it would be nice to be able to view the menu first which is lacking due to there being no website. A special occasion place, I think which in some ways is a shame as I would like to visit more often.
The Dean – St.HelensStarting with the positives the décor is great, the front of house and waiters and ambience with the piano brilliant however the food leaves a bit to be desired. Starters of pork croquet and lamb tasty mains of plaice which would have been cold by the time my partner had removed all the bones had it not been luke warm already as was my rib of beef but at least mine was tasty enough. It is a shame as St Helens needs somewhere like this but for the prices they charge they need to improve the food. Will probably visit again to give them another chance.
The Dean – St.HelensVery good food, reasonably priced menu, appalling service.
The Dean – St.HelensQuality French Algerian restaurant on Lord St. Superior food for Southport!
Chez Moi Brasserie – SouthportI took my mum here for her 45th birthday, we had a great choice of cocktails to start and finish our evening with, it was my second time here and it was just as good as I remembered from the first time. The food is fantastic and I recommend it to any meat lover! Mum enjoyed it too so that’s the main thing
Brunos Rodizio – St. HelensWent on a Tues when it was a little cheaper, lovely place, nice staff, very helpful, the range of meat was amazing, and really nice, some of the meat a little red inside for me, but lots of choice, the salad bar was ok but could be even better. Worth the money even though it is a little expensive, but if you go make sure your hungry. Will go back.
