Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreExcellent
Pickled Walnut – West KirbyWe booked a table for 12 o’clock, got there about 11:50 and was told to sit in the beer garden and wait until they opened, which was fine we were early. The beer garden however was filthy. All of the glasses from the night before still on all the tables, full ash trays, lemons and crisp packets on the floor it was just a mess. 12 o’clock someone came out with a brush and started to brush up, asking us to pass him the rubbish from under our table! Still no one came to seat us or acknowledge that we had a table booked. Another lady was sat waiting too and she was just as annoyed as us. In these circumstances I’m sorry but the mess from the night before should be cleaned straight away. It’s not acceptable to turn up to your booking and sit in last nights mess, so obviously no cleaning had been done! We got up and left at about 10 past 12 and certainly will not be going back!
Dovedale Towers – Mossley HillLovely food at a lovely restaurant staff very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend and will be returning
Ayuthaya – CrosbyThis was my first time going to the Dovedale towers and I certainly won’t be going back. The place itself is nice, clean and modern... however the food and waiting staff were diabolical. Took over 40mins to get the drinks we ordered (one pint and a bottle of cider). While I appreciate everyone is getting used to the new way of eating out post corona virus, there was hardly anyone sat inside, so the place wasn’t full, even with social distancing I don’t see how it could have taken so long. We ordered food which took over 2 hours to come. The waitress was unbelievably rude when we asked how long our food would be after 90 minutes,. Then when then food came it wasn’t what we ordered. The waitress stood there repeating what was in the box over and over again as if we couldn’t see what she had brought us. However that doesn’t change the fact it wasn’t what we ordered. Mistakes happen but she snatched it back and stormed back to the kitchen as if we were lying, she returned 10 mins later with the food we ordered. However it was burnt, cold and as dry as the Sahara. The food o had ordered had lost all warmth and was also as dry as anything mu the time we both had our meals so we ended up eating a few chips, thowing it in the bin and going home. I could of forgiven the food and drinks taking an age if the waitress was polite, I understand she was busy but at the end of the day her attitude was unacceptable. Won’t be going back, would rather eat a burger from maccies.
Dovedale Towers – Mossley HillFood was fabulous, staff were brilliant and very friendly Lovely location and great atmosphere Great portion Size which gave brill value for money Will defo come again
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreProbably something to do with the £10 off deal , but the service was too slow , we waited 1/2 hour for our drinks .
Pickled Walnut – West KirbyLovely little restaurant staff very attentive and helpful Food excellent tasty
Ayuthaya – CrosbyWe had a lovely meal , great service. Drunken noodles were really tasty.
Ayuthaya – CrosbyBest Thai we have visited outside of Thailand...great service, delicious food...thanks for a wonderful experience and we will be back again soon
Ayuthaya – CrosbyWasn't very nice food. Kids pizza made of baguettes with topping the texture of toothpaste. I know they do a more conventional pizza having eaten there before so as a makeshift effort it was rubbish. Jurgen burger, back to drawing board on that, didnt work. May have hit a bad day as food has been good there before. Chips lovely. Service lovely dissapointed at lack of breakfast option.
Dovedale Towers – Mossley HillFirstly I want to mention the food is outstanding and the way they maintain the building is impeccable. But I'm so fed up with the snotty and arrogant female staff members! Every time I've been in they are really rude stand behind the bar gossiping and only when they've finished their conversations do they serve you albeit a sense customers are putting them out! The age of these girls really reflects on the behaviour they portray towards customers! Also if they make a mistake they blame the customer. Fundamentally I love so many things about the Doverdale but staff training is a must. Let me be clear most of the male staff are amazing and some of the female but customer service skills need working on! No one wants to feel intimidated when ordering food and drinks.
Dovedale Towers – Mossley HillFantastic place, fantastic food
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreWe had a fabulous meal at Christakis on Sunday. 2 courses for £10 can you believe! Fantastic value and plenty of food. The greek salad and calamari to start were delicious as were the chicken wings and white bait. The mains were huge! Mousakka, chicken kebab and Afelia all superb! Highly recommended and such good value! Staff fab and pleasant and social distancing spot on
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreStaff and beer still great but the pizza has seriously gone downhill. Seems like frozen pizzas now and a lot of the good options aren’t on the menu anymore. The hotdogs have gone too. Such a shame as the pizza used to taste so good.
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreLovely place. Excellent food and service
R Bar & Brasserie at The Richmond – Liverpool City CentreWe had a fabulous meal on Saturday evening to celebrate a family birthday. Everyone in our party of 8 enjoyed their meals, especially the awesome beef starter! This was our first family night out since lockdown and we could not have felt more comfortable. We would like to say a big thank you to all the staff and also for the great takeaway service which kept us going through lockdown.
Ayuthaya – CrosbyAlways a friendly welcome and service. Excellent food and service !
