Goya Bistro – St. HelensLove ,love ,love this pub's pizzas, they really are the best around. Every time we go there everyone comments that these pizzas are just fantastic. Whenever we go to the Empire for a show we book into this traditional city pub for tea and it's a great part of the evening.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreVery disappointed. Made an online reservation for a meal on Sunday. Received a confirmation email and a reminder email regarding my booking. When we arrived the place was closed for filming but we were not notified on this and I was able to book a table even thought it was closed over the weekend.
Dovedale Towers – Mossley HillFirst time dining at The Lord Strange. Have a fabulous steak (for someone who isn’t a steak lover). It was the best steak I have had. Will certainly be returning. Staff were very attentive and courteous.
The Lord Strange – PrescotFood was amazing, had a lovely evening, servers were very polite and nice.
R Bar & Brasserie at The Richmond – Liverpool City CentreAmazing! We went for a casual meal and took advantage of the 2 course's for £9.99. Didnt expect much from this as it was such a low price but we was blown away. Great looking restaurant, friendly attentive staff, quality tasty food and great value for money. Will definitely be returning soon!
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreAbsolutely great food at this restaurant, Goya is a really friendly beautiful person, service is really good, highly recommend you give the restaurant a try.
Goya Bistro – St. HelensWent for the first steak night,it didnt disappoint. Had the Tomahawk and it was cooked perfectly. The team are fab,and so friendly. Its a great little bar .
The Lord Strange – PrescotHad a wonderful meal yesterday, good choice of menu. Both meals were delicious on all 3 courses. I thought they may have been small plates but they weren't large and very tasty, so much we both couldn't finish dessert which were delicious too. The service was excellent courteous and efficient. This was really good value for money and I would highly recommend this restaurant.
R Bar & Brasserie at The Richmond – Liverpool City CentreThe food was amazing, massive portions and really fresh. Always welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. My new fave restaurant in town!
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreLove it here, visited on Saturday, the food was delicious from the taster menu. The staff are so friendly and always have time for a chat, great atmosphere as well.
The Lord Strange – PrescotVery very disappointed with love thy neighbour......turned up to the baby shower afternoon tea cancelled as the manager had emailed myself at 10.30 on the day of the booking to see if we still wanted it. I had already set off from Leeds to Liverpool at this point so did not check my emails. I had two emails from Jade saying the booking had been confirmed and as there was only 6 of us no need for a deposit. No mention id need to re confirm. The staff were rude and did not try to help the situation at all. Told the guests to sit any where and that we’d have to wait a hour for the cakes to defrost. Eventually spoke to the manager who did try his best to try rectify the situation but to little to late. We came to love thy neighbour on recommendation, unfortunately myself and the other 5 guests won’t be passing on the same. Bread was stale and the scones cold, all thrown together. Was supposed to be a special occasion which was ruined.
Love Thy Neighbour – Liverpool City CentreThe new location is much bigger and brighter and the food is great
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreUnbeatable food service, atmosphere outstanding as good if not better than any Greeks I’ve been to including the original kebab house on leech street in 60/70s.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreGreat food and great service as always. Staff are fantastic!
Sing Faye Chinese Restaurant – St.HelensWe visited as a party of four with a young child. The adults had the Meze and we ordered a plate of ribs for our six year old. Food was fantastic. All hot and fresh and a huge variety of dips, salads, meats and seafood. We couldn’t finish it all and had to ask for carry out to take home. We even got free ice cream and baklava. Atmosphere was really good and staff friendly and helpful - especially George. Will definitely be going back soon and would highly recommend.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreFood was lovely, staff were apologetic and pleasant, but that's where it ends. Poor management amd organisation. Upon entering we had to join a queue in the doorway where there was a large group paying individually. Our reserved table was not ready, even tho it was not full. Then told it was ready, only to find another waitress had given it away! So we found ourselves waiting in the doorway again. Payment should be made at the table, and the desk used solely for greeting customers. No condiments on the table, and the vi negar bottle looked like it had come from the chippy. My online dietary request had not been done, even tho they were happy to organise it once I got there. The tables were much too close together, no privacy whatsoever. Then even tho we asked for the bill at the table we were expected to go and queue in the doorway again to pay! It's a restaurant not a fast food place!!!! People at the table next to us asked 3 times where their drinks where. Our coffees were luke warm and more like warm milk! It's a poor relation to other Brazilians such as Brembrazil! These issues need addressing if it is to compete!
Brunos Rodizio – St. HelensPerfect in every way, delicious food, great value, and friendly staff especially George who looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent night. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
