Pioneer Bar and Brasserie – CrosbyExcellent fresh inventive menu. Loved attention to detail, from seating to menu. Staff knowledgable, friendly and attentive. Have been on few occasions now and always pleased. Try it you won't be disappoint!!!
Button Street Smokehouse – Liverpool City CentreFantastic food friendly staff fab atmosphere. Fit the bill for me going back for my birthday bash big 50. Great location.
Bill’s Restaurant Liverpool – Liverpool OneAlways had amazing meals here with family and friends and have recommended it to a lot of people! The fact that you can take your own wine etc makes the bill so much better at the end of an incredible meal and can't wait to go back!
Cafe Sekander – Mossley HillCafe food dreadful we ordered special Welsh rarebit as the description on the menu tempted us on such a cold day. All we received were two dry cold wedges of bread with a smearing of yellow grainy paste which tasted heavily of mustard a handful of lettuce was dumped on the side no dressing offered. Revolting we will not be eating there again.
THE ATKINSON – SouthportBooked here for 25 people for our works Christmas meal and got to say the food ands service was brilliant! Could fault anything! would definitely recommend!!
Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill @ Hotel Indigo Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreI've visited Lucy's several times recently for both breakfast and lunch. Both were delicious. The breakfast was freshly cooked and the bacon, sausage etc had not been stood around under heated lights like other cafes do.I chose lunch from the specials board which came with an extra jug of gravy which is rare to find in a café. I was also offered extra water for the tea which is a nice touch. The café is spotless (as are the toilet facilities) and the staff are very helpful and cheerful. I didn't miss the constant reserved tables that were an annoying feature when this café was Langtry's. I will be returning and recommend it for breakfast, lunch or a quick cuppa and slice of cake.
Lucy’s Coffee Shop – SouthportFood was great and staff very polite and pleasant, would come back.
Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill @ Hotel Indigo Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreRecently visited - excellent food, and the service was fantastic. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Will definately return - seen this on sugarvine!
Smugglers Cove – Liverpool City CentreWent here yesterday after not being for a few years and wanted to go somewhere in walking distance. We were really looking forward to a fish and chip supper and ordered fish and chips for 2 along with a few other items. Never have I been so disappointed with a take away. The fish seemed to have been left over from the previous night and reheated, it was definitely not freshly cooked. The fish, what there was of it, was dried out and hard and the batter soggy and oily. It was without a doubt the worst take away fish I had ever had and at £3.50 would have expected much better quality. I really should have returned them uneaten but we were settlesd for the night and instead they went into the dustbin. Allerton fish bar is in a prime residential location and should be a little gold mine but serving food of this quality I am suprised they have any customers at all. I certainly wont be returning and would not recommend it to others.
Allerton Fish Bar – Mossley HillBooked a table for 11 but for personal reasons we couldn't make it, left a deposit and was upset I may have lost it because of not being able to go...spoke to a lovely guy called Ziggy and he was great and let me book a later date.......thank you for being so understanding !!
The Charcoal Grill – St.HelensThanks for the recommendation of Havin, in Southport. Great staff, great food, AND a great way to see in the new year. The special deal was not on, but no surprise there. I didn't expect it. But a night of Turkish food and beer, (yes they do beer as well), was a great way to do something different.
Havin Turkish Restaurant – SouthportBest burgers in town. I love it here!
Rookwood Bar & ‘Cue – Liverpool City CentreWe went to Rookwood last Friday for my husbands birthday and he was blown away by the quality of the steaks. He has steak wherever he goes and said it was in the top 3 he has ever tasted. I had the vegetarian burger with Halloumi, avocado and sweet tomato chutney as I don't eat meat, which was also really good. It is great that a meat restaurant caters for me, as they're usually not somewhere I can consider going with the husband as I am not normally catered for. Recommended.
Rookwood Bar & ‘Cue – Liverpool City CentreJust paid a visit to the Ayuthaya restaurant, I have to say the food and staff are amazing, both get 5 stars from me. I will be returning very soon. best Thai fish cakes in a long while. Taz
Ayuthaya – CrosbyI came to the restaurant Tuesday evening with my two daughters as a pre new yer treat. While the food was delicious I was very disappointed as we ordered a banquet which was just on 18 each and we were not even offered desserts or coffee and mints, which was on menu. When we finished main meal we waited for a while, after not being approached we asked for bill and was still not asked if we wanted the said items we had paid for.
The Golden Castle – BootleWe visited your restaurant last night as we have done for the last 6 New Years Eve's. we had pre booked our table for 8pm, and we arrived 10 minutes early. Your restaurant was so full, people were standing alongside table were other customers were eating. We eventually got our table at 8.30pm, and then had to wait almost 30 minutes before anyone came to take our drinks order. This was followed by another long wait to order food and to be served our first course. By the time we had finished our meal it was almost 11.30 pm, we had been in your restaurant over three and a half hours, as had a lot of other dissatisfied customers. Yet all this time, people were coming in and going out with their take-away orders, while those sat at the tables had an ever increasing wait to be served. We had planned to go on to a New Years Eve party after our meal, which is why we booked for 8pm, thinking we would be finished and on our way by 10pm. As it was we had to cancel our plans as we were so late leaving your restaurant, it was by that time impossible to reach were we were going before midnight. We are very disappointed at the service we received, though there was nothing wrong with the food, but the long wait, now means we will have to consider going to a different restaurant for next New Years Eve. It might have been a nice gesture if you had offered all your customers a round of free drinks while they endured the long wait for their meals. I look forward to reading your response
Light Of Bengal – AigburthI dined at Manzo on New Years Eve and wasn't disappointed. Mouth watering starter followed by T bone steak with steamed mixed vegetables ending with chocolate and ice cream desert ...all hitting the mark. This high class restaurant has such a vaiety it's really hard to choose, the staff are pleasing and really do value their customers.
