Malmaison Brasserie – Liverpool City CentreExcellent welcome every time we visit, always feel to come back after the first time after 20 years.
Taj Mahal – WaterlooI visited eastzeast Liverpool with my husband yesterday . This was our first visit and will be our last. The place is very magnificent inside but it lacks an atmosphere with it being so vast. I had booked a table for two a few weeks earlier and they could not find my booking which was not a good start. food is very expensive for what it is, we can get the same quality elsewhere for half the price. it worked out as £25 per person for a starter and a main course. There were too many staff serving us which got really confusing, at one stage we were surrounded by nearly 5 members of staff, i found this uncomfortable and intimidating. A positive is that the food tasted good but again was costly. There are many other restaurants in the area I would rather go and eat at.Overall I was very disappointed.
East z East – Liverpool City CentreFood excellent, beer great, manager rude, insultive, brash, threatening and belligerent. Unless you want a "Fawlty towers" type experience I heavily recommend you go somewhere else!
Imperial Hotel – SouthportThe Mezze is by far our favourite restaurant, we do try other places, but each time one of us will comment “It’s not as good as the Mezze”, so we do eat here a lot! The food is freshly prepared and full of flavour, with good size portions. The staff are always friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely recommend the Mezze.
Mezze – WallaseyI could eat a large hot box every day if i lived nearer but alas I have to settle for once a week when I am having a drink with the girls. If you are a noodle fan like me , this is the place to go , food and staff exellent. Eat in or take out the choice is yours , I usually do both ! Well done Wok and Go, and the prices are good too.
Wok & Go – Liverpool City CentreMyself & 3 friends went for lunch at the cafe after having purchased groupon voucher for the afternoon tea, The food i have to say was very fresh & very nice however we found that the quantity of food supplied was somewhat frugal & was only just enough for two people. 2 quater tuna 2 quater cheese sandwiches, & 2 meat salad half roll.s with 2 scones & 2 small slices of cream sponge does not make a substantial afternoon tea for 4 people.
Botanic Gardens Cafe and Settle Inn – SouthportFood is very nice carvery however breakfast at weekend not good. The toilets in this place are a disgrace won't be going again
Greenhill Toby Restaurant – Mossley HillBeen to loads of do's with work as part of night out but quite a few years ago now. Took SWMBO this afternoon. Has not changed a bit, excellent service, excellent food, brilliant atmosphere, even in afternoon with families around. Will definitely be back a lot sooner.
Casa Italia – Liverpool City CentreAlways enjoy myself in Sakara, very relaxing and great food.
Sakara – AigburthI came over on Saturday 6th Oct, with 10 friends to celebrate 2 60th's. The Restaurant is a great place to be in, we all loved the atmosphere, the attention and especially the food. We ate the early menu and the quality and size of portions was more than adequate. We were asked to take the upstairs room to finish of our night with Champagne and continue enjoying ourselves. This is the second time some of us had been, their will be a third Im sure.
The Clove Hitch Bistro and Bar – Liverpool City CentreL25 5JL is the correct postcode for this lovely pub, but it's nowhere near the city centre. It's in the village of Woolton. And the beer and food are excellent.
The White Horse – WooltonFound this delight today. Two happy and full vegans on the train home. Breakfast wad awesome with scrambled tofu, and (hot) beans. My wife said the coffee was amazing too. Back for a meal later - a sharing mezze with homemade humous, followed by lentil and bean burgers with. amazing rosemary cooked wedges. We will be back.
MelloMello – Liverpool City CentreFirst visited the restaurant last friday and was welcomed and enjoyed the gorgeous food, even though I was stuffed and left a bit. Decided to take the kids back on the sunday and then tonight we got a takeaway!!! the food is amazing, fresh, tasty and healthy. Staff are really welcoming and attentive. 5 stars!!!
The Sheesh Turkish BBQ Restaurant – St.HelensWhat a fantastic discovery! Delicious food which tasted as if it would do you good as well. Everything freshly cooked. Waiter very helpful, explained some of the mysteries of Persian cuisine and was totally charming. I was pleasantly surprised at the bill - everything about the place - quality of food, decor, service - made me think I would be paying much more than I did. Go and try for yourself!
Azagros Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreAMAZING restaurant, this is one of mine and my boyfriend's favourite restaurants, its just round the corner from where I live and we have never experienced anything short of excellent food and service from here. On our last visit, we got 2 poppadoms each, 2 starters to share with a naan bread, 2 main courses and a paratha and the bill only came to £33, that's less than £20 per person!! I ask for something that isn't on the menu but they always make it for me which I think is lovely. All in all a fantastic restaurant!! Will be going again very soon!!
Royal Tandoori Restaurant – WavertreeHad an amazing meal. Two courses £12.95 on early doors, unbelievable!
