Salt House Bacaro – Liverpool City CentreGreat for breakfast. Also ordered a buffet from there, all I can say was there was loads left and it was absolutely fantastic.....Will defo be ordering as I have a function coming up in next few months.
The Terrace – MoretonMy family and I have been coming to the Ying Wah for many years the food is fab and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonFantastic views, lovely food, great cocktails and wonderful service. What more can I say about this place except that you must try it.
Hannahs Bar – Liverpool City CentreI visited the Copper Pot Knowsley, this was my first visit. I waited for 10 mins to be seated as there seemed to be no staff around, when we eventually got seated we had a choice of tables as the restaurant was inly about 1/3 full. We waited again for about 5 mins before the waitress came to the table and asked us were we ready to order and what drinks we wanted, we asked for more time to check out the menu but ordered our drinks. 15 mins later we had to ask a waitress again for our drinks and said we were ready to order, she then said she was busy and disappeared, about ten minutes later she returned and took our food order and assured us our drinks were on the way. Another 5 minutes past still no drinks, we noticed during this time two staff sat having a a break and eating a meal other staff we looking through the whole behind them having a good chat which was annoying it seamed so close but yet so far for us to get any decent service. Eventually our meals came, the waitress never smiled once and didn't even ask if we wanted sauces etc. Shortly followed by our drinks, we had been sat in the restraunt for about 40 minuets by this time. The meal was really nice I must admit, but this was tainted by slow service and the gathering of staff and the laughter from the staff at the table facing us. I am about to celebrate my 50th birthday and was looking to see if my family and I would have a special experience at the Copper Pot while having my birthday meal. I don't think my family would be happy with their experience if this was the case again on the day. I will try the Copper Pot again mainly because of the lovely food, but if the service is as bad again we won't be visiting again I hope that whatever went wrong on my first visit was a one off, as its a place I would love to regularly attend. But if this is the norm I dont think it will be as popular a place to dine as it could be if your staff were more professional. Yours sincerely Caroline griffiths carolinegriffiths@hotmail.co.uk
Copper Pot – PrescotReally good, tasty rotisserie chicken. Great roasted vegetables. Super friendly service. Very impressed. Restaurant small, we went at lunch and had no problem getting a seat but it may pay to book in the evening. You can even take your own wine.
Spitroast – WavertreeThe Jug and Bottle is a great looking pub inside. The exterior does not do it justice. It has lots of character and an upmarket feel. My lunchtime feed was excellent. Pity I was driving as I would have liked to have tried a real ale or two by their roaring fire.
Jug and Bottle – HeswallBeen coming to this place for a few years now and great service every time. I recommend the poached eggs they are lovely. Thanks Kelsey
Pioneer Bar and Brasserie – CrosbyExcellent fresh inventive menu. Loved attention to detail, from seating to menu. Staff knowledgable, friendly and attentive. Have been on few occasions now and always pleased. Try it you won't be disappoint!!!
Button Street Smokehouse – Liverpool City CentreFantastic food friendly staff fab atmosphere. Fit the bill for me going back for my birthday bash big 50. Great location.
Bill’s Restaurant Liverpool – Liverpool OneAlways had amazing meals here with family and friends and have recommended it to a lot of people! The fact that you can take your own wine etc makes the bill so much better at the end of an incredible meal and can't wait to go back!
Cafe Sekander – Mossley HillCafe food dreadful we ordered special Welsh rarebit as the description on the menu tempted us on such a cold day. All we received were two dry cold wedges of bread with a smearing of yellow grainy paste which tasted heavily of mustard a handful of lettuce was dumped on the side no dressing offered. Revolting we will not be eating there again.
THE ATKINSON – SouthportBooked here for 25 people for our works Christmas meal and got to say the food ands service was brilliant! Could fault anything! would definitely recommend!!
Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill @ Hotel Indigo Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreI've visited Lucy's several times recently for both breakfast and lunch. Both were delicious. The breakfast was freshly cooked and the bacon, sausage etc had not been stood around under heated lights like other cafes do.I chose lunch from the specials board which came with an extra jug of gravy which is rare to find in a café. I was also offered extra water for the tea which is a nice touch. The café is spotless (as are the toilet facilities) and the staff are very helpful and cheerful. I didn't miss the constant reserved tables that were an annoying feature when this café was Langtry's. I will be returning and recommend it for breakfast, lunch or a quick cuppa and slice of cake.
Lucy’s Coffee Shop – SouthportFood was great and staff very polite and pleasant, would come back.
