Forge Brasserie – SouthportNever fancied eating here but always seemed full so gave it a try.Really good, staff very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and hot and liked the wait between courses ,hate being rushed. Will definitely be going again.
Bella Italia – Liverpool City CentreI had my own cup of hot chocolate from outside of the cafe, and was shouted at by one of the staff, and I mean nasty raised voice, so everyone stopped eating to looked over. I'm an adult not a child..and having there own conversations, where I could hear what they were saying, I felt uncomfortable and embaressed, couldnt wait to leave the place.
The Terrace – MoretonExcellent. Good value for Money, Staff really pleasant.
Greek Taverna – WaterlooFantastic food, excellent service and reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
Mei Mei – Liverpool City CentreWent there before Philharmonic, food was lovely staff very good would recommend it.
The Side Door – Liverpool City CentreI been to Zyka several times. I live in crosby. Bit far from my home but when I think about quality of the food Zyka always comes first in my mind. Specially when you consider the real taste of Indian food. As an Indian I do know what the Indian Food tastes like. Never been dissatisfied. Would highly recommend if you want to get the proper taste of Indian Meals. Service was very friendly and spot on.
Zyka – FormbyWell what can I say, went with the girls sat night AMAZING this is someone who dosent like chinese and i have to say ive been converted it was delicious great service definitley be going back .
Chinese Kitchen – WallaseyAte there for the very 1st time last night, and it was absolutely gorgeous, i only got a beef Korma, a didnt want it to end haha, lovley service, food and Decor, cant wait to go again x
Gate Of India – WaterlooMy sister and I went to San Carlo as a gift to our mum, we had booked a table but on arrival asked to wait until our table was ready, this being half and hour. Upon ordering our meal, we waited an hour for our food to arrive only for mine and my sisters dish to be served cold. Throughout the evening the waiter kept on tapping on my shoulder in order to ask me to move to let him past. Rude staff and cold food, I had the worst night ever and left without having anything to eat, I would not recommend and I will never go again
San Carlo – Liverpool City CentreHad a fantastic night at the Astoria. The food was exceptional, the service was outstanding and I couldn't fault a thing.. except maybe the owner who beat me at chess whilst waiting for the taxi. Don't worry Ill be back for a re match when I haven't had so much to drink!!!
Astoria – West KirbyHEY ! HEARD THERE HAVIN BANDS BACK ON THERE...ABOUT TIME THIS AREA HAD BANDS ...NOWHERE FOR MY AGE (40 ISH )TO GO,CERTAINLY WOULD'NT GO INTO TOWN...ALL KIDS ,KAREOKE...BACKIN TAPES....COFFEE HOUSE USED TO BE BUZZIN YEARS AGO...TIME TO GET IT BACK !!!!LOOKIN FORWARD TO IT !
The Coffee House – WavertreeI've just come back from my first trip to Sheldrakes. It is beautiful. The (all male) staff, dress immaculately, and are very attentive. We had the four course celebration menu, it was all great. Including drinks and a decent tip, we were £80 for a great meal and a great experience.
Sheldrakes – HeswallThe Moon and Pea is one of my favourite places to eat on Lark Lane service is next to non and the food is always fantastic would definitely recommend to any one.
The Moon and Pea – AigburthExcellent night except for the food. I got food poisoning. Watch out for the fish!
Blundell Street Supper Club – Liverpool City CentreWe have been eating here now for over two years, at least two- three times a month. The place is always welcoming and relaxing....but the food and it is pub grub is outstanding, always fresh. The Sunday roasts, as they say are like your mums......i always get the roast beef, they get the roasted veg right the mash is lovely and they are over generous with the meat. With great music in the background its a great place to spend your Sunday afternoons. All in all this lovely little bar is highly recommended.
The Shipping Forecast – Liverpool City CentreAfter an enjoyable night out with friends we thought we would tootle along to the popular hang out the harbour bar, BIG MISTAKE! After not being able to find a seat and being bumped into by white trash not once not twice but three times we then proceeded to the bar to purchase some beverages, what happened next I never expected! The inflation of the economy is understandable however an eight pound price tag for a shite vodka and red bull which was actually vodkat and boost I was astounded to find out on later research that for the nifty total of twelve pound I could purchase my very own bottle of it, upon completion of our drinks we bought another two but this time as singles and it still came to an astonishing six pound, not satisfied or happy with either the staff, customers, music or the beverages, I will most likely be returning because that's were loads of people go however next time I hope that the huge shit that clogged up the middle girls toilet is gone, that was a dirty currpy poop.
The Harbour Bar – WaterlooAlthough small the meals are a big surprise. Lyn one of the owners goes out of her way to please every taste ,the food is second to none and cooked on the spot the texture and taste of each dish sublime not mass produced like some chinese eating houses. Would not go anywhere else and I have tried most of the restaurants in Liverpool, and Southport definitely 5 star food.
